like i said i have not stiffed anyone, but if it came down to it and for some reason i was broke and hungry why not take a free shot, i dont plan on it and dont intend to, i am just voicing an opinion. as far as honor among gamblers...seems like an oxymoron, every gambler will be broke at one time and where is the honor in that? you dont eat because you want to feel better about yourself, would rather sleep with a full stomach in a bed than feel good about my debts, i bet very rarely and stick to poker for the most part. Unless you are capping yourself, at a very high percentage the juice itself is enough to keep anyone with an understanding of statistics far, far away, without a rollover! but you are right, just because you can screw someone does not make it ok...and i never screwed anyone merely asked what would happen if i did. So the answer to your question would be yes, i get where you are coming from, but when cw goes belly up dont say i didnt warn you, and why are u gambling on credit anyway? especially with a rollover requirement. seems like they are taking advantage of many people who had a bad run in life to begin with, and see it as one of their last outs, and targeting a demographic that is broke to begin with, not a very good business model at all.

i wish you scumbags would just go away with your "bad business model"
who the fuk cares!
no one who plays here will come on here crying if they go out of business, we know the risk and reward of dealing with a credit shop! We dont need your scumbag opinions!Comment -

#74They are better than a "typical credit shop" for us smaller players. We get a 15% bonus when we pay up what we owe, fast settlement at a lower figure ($400) when we win.
And yes, we know the risk.. (of playing with any offshore).Comment -

If I had to chose been gambling and eating, I would join GA and stick to the program. I don't think anyone should ever get to that level, or even the level of having to chose between paying their bills/debts and gambling. Again, if I ever chose gambling over paying my debts, I would quit gambling and/or get help if I couldn't quit on my own.Comment -

#84OK, fair enough great 30.
So you feel you are breaking the law when you fund your Betjam account, the same as you feel others break the law when they fund their creditwager account. So you have become a criminal, just because you like to gamble.
I agree some books are crazier than others for sure.
Sadly, anyone who ever used Neteller to fund a book is already a criminal (if your interpretation is correct), and one whose name is on file with the justice department, and it wouldn't surprise me if the credit card people and Western Union would roll over too if asked.

#88Peep, you seem like a smart man, but to say you have been betting for 50 years and always able to seperate it from effecting your life would put u in the minority. Many people cannot keep them seperate and end up suffering along with many of their families. Only problem is there is no detox for gambling, many people get that "itch" and cannot resist. I feel that with the definition of an addict being to continue an action despite negative consequenses that we are all in the same boat. Just because you have been lucky enough to be financially stable does not make you any better of a person. Many of people have turned to gambling with the hope of relieving debt and ended up losing everything. Sad but true, that is why I really dont feel bad for cw and the recent rumors of them going belly up. And with a business that gives you a 15% rebate on what u owe if you pay they are basically giving away their juice. So their lines are either way out of whack or they are burning some players out there. I would be suprised to see em last longer than another few months, tops. I feel that any gambling besides poker is not a good decision, it may be fun but many of people have and will continue to suffer.Comment -

PERIOD.
The government (who now markets gambling themselves lol, next for them comes crack and prostitution, when I was a kid they called lotteries "the numbers racket", but I digress) estimates somewhere's between 5 and 10% of the population has problems gambling.
Yet they persist in advertising and fueling this addiction to these people.

#94Funny how only scumbag stiffs and people who have never played at CW are the ONLY ones to hate on them, i.e.
Obnoxious : annoying or objectionable due to being a showoff or attracting undue attention to oneself
Ignorance : lack of knowledge, education, or awareness
Irrelevant : not applicable or pertinent; having no probative value upon any issue in the case
I have yet to see a legitimate player have a complaint about them here or any other forum since September when I started playing with them and looking for such posts.Comment -

#96i heard that only a litlle over 20% of customers pay cw, how long will they stay open, whats the over/under on them being open in three months, and how much do you have to owe for them to come after you, 200, 400, the whole 1000 or whatComment -

But who cares? They have paid everyone so far, and on time.
As to the second part of your question "how much do you have to owe for them to come after you"..... If you plan to play there and not pay, I have one word of advice.
DON'T.
You have bigger problems that them chasing you if you are already planning a getaway BEFORE betting. If this is the case, don't bet until you can afford it. If you need a getaway plan, you can't.....Comment -

#98i actually played with them and like their site so far, I lost 400 and settled up at 340 just to get it out of the way, I like their 15% savings but I asked the question because I wanted to post up to raise my limits but am afraid they might go under, but the percentage of players that pay is like 20 point something, I did research, this is why i am hesitant to post up with them and get screwed. This is also the reason I ask what are their procedures for collecting, I just want to know they are not going to go under.Comment -
