Banks are dying, as are businesses right now - why should books be exempt? Books will use our held funds either to invest or to sit on deposit at a bank somewhere so can you be sure that these funds are completely safe? If so, at which books do you feel happy to leave large deposits?

I have over the past week been unable to access the follow sites at one point or another:

    bet1128
    ABC islands family
    5dimes
    skybook

yes it may be coincidence with DDOS attacks and servers going to but it makes me uneasy.

In addition mansion sportsbook has closed and mansion88 is taking weeks to honour what looked like a fairly standard and small bonus offer dating from the beginning of september.

The fact that you cannot access the website at a certain time, and the safety of your funds are completely unrelated.

A more true indicator of fund safety for me is how quickly they process payouts, and how much hassle they give me to take the money out.

ok - ignoring the site down aspect as agree that can be completely unrelated - are you concerned about any sites? Are there any sites transparent enough so that it is possible to see where they have historically invested?

Most books should scale up or down no problem - if they get less income, they simply fire some call centre staff.

The problem ones will be those that have expanded a lot recently, and have taken on debt to fund it. For example, lasseters.

[SBRFORUM]Lasseters[/SBRFORUM] just recently stopped accepting wagering at there online casinos not to long ago. So maybe the rumors could be true about them going under.

There are more secure books than just Matchbook these days sir. Why 5Dimes, ThePig, and TheGreek all come to mind right off the top of my head.
