Need some help from all you 5dimes users
i'm very new to online wagering and am looking to practice some plays with some legit lines.

on their site they have this

The online wagering process is simple. If you can point and click with your mouse, you can wager online. What confuses most new customers is how "real money" can be wagered over the Internet. Here's how it works:

When you open an account at 5Dimes, your balance is $0. If your account is empty, you can play for fun.

when i click to wager on something ("for fun") it says,The risk amount of $5.00 is greater than your amount available of $0.00 USD.

am i missing something? where can i play for fun and try out some bets without risking anything (yet)

Mine says the risk amount of $10.00 is greater than your limit of $2.50.

    Thanks 5Dimes!

I personally don't know books that have "fun" accounts, although maybe there are some. Honestly, I've never really looked that hard. But anyhow, you can easily track yourself, either on the spreadsheet on your mysbr page or with Excel.

Never fear. "Real Money" is a very funny term in the case of 5Dimes. If you know how to point and click you almost know too much for Tony's site.

So let's be clear: 5Dimes does not accept "real money" wagers.

Now if you are a loser and want to bet your lunch money--5Dimes is the best book out there.

          OK, back to my Duran.

Phoning 5 Dimes seems like a good, linear approach to getting this question answered.

You are absolutely correct Cat, but that doesn't give near as much pleasure to the group.

              For example:

              "Yes, this is Tony!!"
Player: "I noticed I now have a 25 second delay on my acct, could you please explain that?"

Tony: "What the **** part of that 25 seconds didn't you understand that you need explained &&&&sucker?"

Player: Well I haven't won that much and it seemed a little extreme, I was just wondering.... (cut off in mid sentence by god)

Tony: "Look mother****er--let me explain this, how would you like a 45 second delay?? How the **** would you like that? Do I need to explain some more?"

You see, Cat--we need 5Dimes threads just for entertainment value--since most of us can't play there.

It sounds like the account set to test went bust and they havent reset it yet. A call should fix.
