Moneybookers - How Long Does It Take Them To Process Identification Documents ?
Moneybookers requested a copy of my driver's license or passport, plus a copy of a utility bill, in order to process a withdrawal.

I scanned and sent them the requested documents Tuesday morning.

It's now Friday afternoon, and they still haven't updated my account to allow me to make a withdrawal request.

Any idea how long it usually takes these guys to process the ID docs that I sent in ? Should I e-mail them to see what's going on ?

Call them to follow it up. If you let them work at their own pace it can take a while.

Their customer service hours are 9-5 monday to friday UK time, so you'll have to wait until monday, the office is now closed.

When I first started dealing with them, that was a pretty standard wait time. They have gotten better as time has gone by. I would have figured they would handle something like that by now.

Then again I'm a "VIP" so maybe I get special treatment. Same with those hours betplom is referencing. I have talked to them outside those hours many times - but it could be special treatment.

But I do talk to other people who aren't VIP's who also report things getting better and quicker. Messages are getting answered overnight (at least sometimes).

So I dunno. I would try to contact them. Other than phoning, their website messaging system is probably the best method.

Of course I could be wrong, however I thought the month time frame was for merchant accounts only sir.
