    Beware of bet365 withdrawal policy
I requested a £200.00 payment from them on 31st july and finally received it on 12th aug, here's what happened and a little insight to a scam they operate, if you've ever withdrawn from bet365 you'll notice they have a cancel withdrawal option, now you might be thinking how can you cancel a withdrawal once its been processed, here's what happened to me. After 5 working days and bet365 telling me various times that the payment was "pending" or one agent told me "processed", another told me "it had definitely left bet365 and after 10 days they could put a trace on it" i started to get a bit suspicious, so I rang c/s and asked to speak to the duty manager, i asked him if i could have a snapshot of the reply they got from the bank once they sent the money, he told me he never heard of such a thing and that they didnt have that information, i then told him how the banking system works and he said he'd ring the accounts dept, they told him the money definitely left bet365 on 31st july and if after 10 days it still hadn't arrived they would put a trace on it, so i rang them again and confronted them with my suspicions about them holding onto the money, eventually they sent me the info i asked for, a snapshot of the message they got from the bank, and guess what? sure enough they'd held the money till the 5th of august before processing it, when i asked them was this normal policy they told me it was a glitch in the system, hold on, why was i told by so many agents the money had definitely left bet365, again i was told it was a glitch in the system and it always says that, did i get an apology? NO, any gestures of goodwill for all those lies told to me NO, am i still using bet365? no, not because of that, but because tonight their poker software went down, (probably another glitch in the system) so i used the chat option to ask about getting my stake back as the tournament didnt even start, "we need the tournament id first" the operator tells me, well i cant see it because the error message says sorry tournament closed due to technical problems "well if you're entitled to a refund we'll email you" was the reply. i thought hold on a minute, if i'm entitled to a refund? if i wasnt at the tournament how would i have known the software went down, (which in all fairness to the c/s agent she did say they were experiencing difficulties) but to have to wait to see if i am entitled to a refund and that they would let me know by email, makes me wonder if they are losing so many customers that they hold on to your money as long as they can.
