i deposited the minimum 20 bucks and bet 10 of it on the phillies and won.
i withdrew my 30 by a withdraw method through revolution money exchange. it looks like a paypal type service with no fees. i got the 30 bucks so im gonna keep using it for now. i looked up their WHOIS too...

i think this may be the same people who do creditwagering.com because their WHOIS info is very similar to that.

Maybe not, if they're not taking any juice. That makes it more like a contest, which in most states is not illegal.

I don't see how they get their edge, though.

This totally reminds me of a scam that ran out of the states 3-4 years back. They tried to call themselves a club rather than a sportsbook. They offered no juice and had a few shills running around for awhile.

A bunch of people ended up getting stiffed.

I remember one of the shills ended up getting stiffed himself (bengalsfan??) which led to some funny stuff on the forum as he went looking for sympathy. Or maybe I'm mixing up my stiff jobs but there was definitely a place in that same part of the states that was trying to call itself club and ended up being a disaster.

I'm killing myself trying to remember the name. It will come to me. I bet Dozer remembers. It was a little bit before this forum started.

Point being: I wouldn't touch this.

Most states it is legal for about a $50 to $100 person to person bet if noone is collecting an "edge" or percentage cut rather aka no middleman, but how exactly would the managers of the site get anything out of it? seems shady

Wagerfree. That's what I was trying to remember. Similar scam run out of Nevada.

The operator, Garet Bradford, was eventually charged with and pled guilty to a felony. Unfortunately the reports go right up to the point of announcing his sentencing date but don't state the sentence. Maybe he's back.

I also don't recall how the lawsuits went but I don't think they got much blood out of that stone.

And yes, let me say this loud and clear. A BUNCH OF PEOPLE GOT RIPPED OFF FOR BIG DOLLARS!!! IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS!!!

Sorry, it gets frustrating. I remember warning people about WagerFree and how it couldn't possibly work but people couldn't see through the shills who were saying everything was great. People called me a stuffy old poop and insisted on playing there.

                  Oh well.

Perhaps this is a glance into the future for anyone thinking of trying this. Read from bottom upwards to follow the chronolgy.

i already won money and withdrew it to make sure they actually do withdrawals, and i don't think the no juice thing is permanent. on the homepage says it's just until they get 50 users.

The Whois info is listing the contact details for the proxy service that keeps the real admin details private. You see a lot of them in Virginia for Network Solutions.

That site seems to be down for me sir.
there's no such domain registered in Plesk
Also, I did noticed that they had an affiliation with [iSBRFORUM]b4playing[/iSBRFORUM], which was a scam casino site. Needless to say this site is down as well.

Dan, just another one of those too good to be true offers. Story of my life.

                                No juice indeed.

Mybetex did get one #1 vote in the Top Sportsbook poll.

See if you can guess who cast it.
