Another Bodog Question and Point of View
I have been with Bodog for about 5 years. Alot has changed during that time. I requested a payout for some of my account yesterday. We will see how long that takes.

Bodog tried to get a debit card program set up this summer. They mailed via UPS me a debit card. Even though this program was cancelled it showed me that they still have a commitment to paying customers by paying money to ship out all the debit cards that they did.

Bodog has gotten larger than just online gambling. They sponsor boxing have casinos and much more (This may be there problem)

I guess since i have money still in there i will continue to play there and see what happens to there payout situation.

Is it just me or do others see Bodog coming through this and staying alive, or is this wishful thinking from my part. Well, the 8 week waiting period has begun and i will see if i get paid. I figure if i hit a hot streak maybe i can request a pay out every couple of weeks to get them coming in at intervals as long as they are paying. I have read that customers have gotten them they have just taken the entire time. I am in no rush to get my money i just want to know when they say it is coming they arent lying to me.

If you want to help them out, don't request payouts every couple of weeks.

They'd be 1000x better off if people would deposit at the beginning of the season and withdraw at the end instead of every week.

Having to make ten thousands transactions in a few weeks is impossible these days.

i agree 100% with you on not making the payout requests, but if i am winning and i have doubts about there ability to pay i want my money. I dont want them to process payouts for the next 6 months and then mine be sitting there and not get done. I dont think that will occur but who knows.

Bodog tried to become a main stream name in the US with all the promotion and act like they were a legal operation. I think if they flew under the radar and were happy with being and sportbooks maybe they would not be in the sh*t right now

I'm not going to make any other comment on Bodog except for this one. No, I don't think Bodog will be fine. Calvin Ayre "retired" and Bodog became Bodoglife. I don't expect Bodog to crash, but I do foresee that these 40 day payouts will be common place. The fees for withdrawal will go up. Finally, they will have to downscale their opperation. You'll start to see less promotional shit and advertising / marketing at live events like boxing or whatever.

Reading this thread tells me Darwin was spot on so far as online gamblers go.

Go back to the home page. See all those banners up there. Do you see Bodog?

              Over to you, Mr. Darwin.

I am glad to see that SBR has downgraded Bodog to an appropriate level. C feels about right at this time, although it is slightly disturbing that they are one of the sponsors for Beat the Prick.
