Logans upgrade from D- to D+ reflects potential for independent decision making
Logans upgrade from D- to D+ reflects potential for independent decision making.

The sportsbook, which is managed and hosted by Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-), tells SBR that it has its own email address for players to use when a dispute arises. Logans management also said it would be open to revisiting the decisions made by Sportsbook.com's team. Logan's management suggested it would have reversed decisions the Sportsbook.com Group made against players in the past, prior to its launch. Logans is a new Sportsbook.com-hosted brand that uses the turnkey operation's banking and processing. Players at Sportsbook.com turnkey serviced sportsbooks including Logans are susceptible to the long payout delays due to processing. Some players are currently waiting almost four months.

They are doing better right now. With heavy deposits coming in to merchant accounts in a few weeks they should be able to avoid the 6 month waits of 2007.

Moving a 2 million slug is difficult. Accepting 5,000 internet "purchases" is not.

That is what I'm referring to....processor problems are processor problems no matter how many deposits you are taking in. Now is you're paying quicker once football season starts that I would suspect a previous cash flow problem masked as a processor problem.

The upgrade is good news for a lot of Logans players. Having Sportsbook.com run their business is a difficult ball and chain Logans is dragging around.

It was a lot easier to analyze before processing was a factor but there is no denying funding the merchant account is one of the most challenging parts of the process. If the book is on the small side like a BetMania, it's a good bet processing is not the core problem. Regardless of the sportsbook size, what started as processor problem will lead to financial losses.
