Why does not Matchbook offer more sports?
I just don't understand this? You would think a business model such as MB's that is motivated by commission from winning wagers would offer all sorts of sporting events from the most popular to the most obscure. But they don't.

No WNBA, no arena football, no CFL, soccer, rugby, etc.....

I am not a business man or anything and maybe I am missing something here, but would not you want to put up as many sports as possible so that you can collect commission since there is no risk to you?

They will put it up if you (or someone) will agree to seed the market.

For whatever reason, lots of sports just aren't popular there. There's not a single offer on the pga event in reno today, whereas betfair has $350,000 matched.

Maybe more sports would make the place look like a ghost town, and turn off potential customers.

Yeah I think that's their fear. They want the liquidity in the existing markets right now. If they get enough liquidity in the major markets, they will probably look to expand to less popular markets since there will be a greater demand for it.

Wow! Copenhagen must be wonderful. I am planning to visit Europe in the fall. I'm thinking Amsterdam and London for a week.

Matchbook is actually one of the best sportsbooks out there. What they lack in the number of events they make up for it in fast payouts.

Matchbook is fine by me, never had any issues with them. Best thing to remember is to go small and slow until you get the hang of how things are done there.

Yea, they're the worst book if you don't like getting the best possible odds on 75% to 85% of your plays.

matchbook is pretty much all u.s. users, americans don't like to bet soccer.

It's not matchbook which dictates the odds. It's the users.

Lol JJ what do you consider regular stuff? The Pro sports im assuming right? How is being able to get 50k on sides, at least 20k on spreads for NBA and NFL, 10k on totals not having enough volume? You have NO basis to say that when it is proven the opposite EVERYDAY. If you don't "see" 50k in volume on one side buy it up and in an hr or so more volume will be posted up. Books continually dump off action to them. Why do you think they have FREE B2B transfers? Those books simply dump off action they dont want at a discount price to MB. You obviously have NO experience in using them this way so stop making FALSE accusations. It's pathetic and your "grudge" against MB is unbelievable. I figured with someone that has your experience in the industry would see how much of an asset MB is. More power to you but I like to get the lowest possible juice every time at one of the most secure books out there. Best of Luck to you.
