Does anyone know why Sportsbook would only send bank wires if they are $5000 or more? Seems like they could send them for less. Just curious.

#2Usually books do it because other processing methods will fly under the radar on anything under $5,000.Comment -

#4Probably due to cost. I don't know what they would pay, but for a retail customer like me at my bank, it cost $6.50 for a bank draft, and (I think) ~$35 for a international bank wire. It cost nothing for a regular cheque.Comment -

#5they are charging 2% so cost should be an issue. My guess with the 5K is 98% of accounts at that joke of an opperation are under that amount.
I have 2 pending wires from these freaks. My 2cents is the problem is with the US gov not with all the books.
Why in the world would they not want to pay the players? It makes little to no sense.Comment -

#6They can send a wire for $5 if they wanted to, there's no minimum at banks, but it's a hassle and they do it to discourage the regular player.Comment -
