    MyBookie.ag holding 22k [Resolved]

I deposited several thousand over the course of 2018 until the super bowl 2019. Totaling $15K. I got some bonuses but had to meet about a $350,000 rollover requirement. It took me until a month or so ago to get there, but I did. Now... my account is at $22,000+. I went to make a bet the other day and my max bet was $1.00 - I called. Emailed. Chatted etc. no one could help. I was then told I needed to wait for a call from “BUTCH”.

Butch called and I missed the call. I called back, asked to speak with him. They said he’d call me back. I picked up when he did. “Next time i call, you pick up” I asked what was going on etc, politely. I asked what I did wrong. All he kept saying was.. “you tell me” - “we lowered your live bet to $100, lowered your limits etc” I said okay... that’s fine that’s your decision. He then said “management has decided to close your account” - I said okay... I would rather keep gambling but if you must... I’ll request my payouts.. his response.. “nah, I don’t think so” I said I don’t understand what the issue is. He just kept saying “you tell me, you tell me”. Is he trying to imply I’m some sort of sharp? I called in yesterday and some customer service kid said they want a selfie with my ID. Sent that in. All confirmed. (My account wasn’t already confirmed, i got payouts before) he also said it could be because of the “50/50” rule. I said what the hell is that? Said you need to take an even amount of OU’s, favorites and dogs etc .All I do is gamble against the public basically... I take favorites, dogs, overs and unders. No trends or anything. Basically they are just doing whatever they can not to pay me, or just have no intention of paying me.

“Butch” said he’ll call me back and when he does i better pick up. Nothing since. This was Sunday. Now, they declined my payout request i put in last week. I put money in and I won a little, I reached the rollover, I sent in all proper documentation. They are literally just refusing to pay because I won a little. Any advice? Have many screen shots showing balances, minimum bets they implemented etc. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would’ve dealt with it even if they asked me to lower my weekly withdrawals and continue betting. I just want this squared away...

I've been extremely fortunate with MyBookie. I've killed them on everything they offer and they still pay me within 24 hours. You're not the first one to post stuff like this and it's extremely alarming. I've tried keeping my balance there small but they are notoriously slow on moving lines and pretty easy to beat.

They are a real PITA to deal with on stuff and it's probably wise that nobody bet with them going forward. They have lots of marketing though and many shows/podcasts/streamers etc have referral links to them. I'm surprised so many people would want to represent a site like MyBookie but I guess I can't blame them if they're getting paid.

Hope this works out for you and you get paid out in full. Please update us when you hear more.

Their 50/50 rule has nothing do do with balancing favorites/dogs. It has to do with balancing what they call "partial game" bets with "full game" bets. Full game bets are your typical full game MLs, spreads, and game totals. Partial is everything else. Basically, it's their way of preventing you from taking advantage of their loose props. You can do so, but only up to a certain point.

So I don't know why he brought this up with you if you've mostly been doing the bolded.

I just noticed this part. I assume live betting wouldn't fall under "full game" bets, so you may have some catching up to do in order to meet the 50/50 rule requirement before you can withdraw. However, if that were the case, I don't know why he wouldn't just make that clear.

If someone bets all live, or all props, or all 2H bets they may come back and ask for an equal proportion of straight pre match betting.

I basically never bet live or props or 2H. They put my limits on that stuff at almost nothing so I just used other sites if I ever did that. They set my max straight bet at 1K so I would usually do between 500-1000 a game on straight bets. Did absolutely nothing wrong.

Hi, complaint form sent in Monday. Also, “Butch” never brought any of these rules up etc. all he kept saying was “you tell me” and essentially... “I know you won, but yeah we’re all set we’re not gonna pay you”

I can't see how it's the 50/50 rule thing then.

I guess they could also ask a bettor to bet 50% on NFL and 50% on highschool football, or 50% on MLB and 50% on japanese baseball league

This would mean he took $17,500 in bonuses and kept taking bonuses before clearing the rollover on them.

The max bonus they give on each deposit is $1,000 with 10x rollover.

Not saying he did anything wrong but it's strange to keep taking bonuses without clearing them and withdrawing sooner.

If I remember correctly the max bonus was much higher back then. And my rollover was like 25x. I did them on the phone, they were fully aware.

Like I said in my post before, I don't think you did anything wrong here. But I'm really surprised you'd continue to take free play bonuses with 25x rollover while still clearing rollover from previous bonuses/deposits. Definitely was not insinuating that you were doing anything sketchy or behind their backs.

I'm hoping you get paid. I still have a reasonable balance there and they've been fair to me before. I think you will get paid, but they're not going to make it easy on you from the sounds of it. I've never had to deal with Butch, thankfully, he sounds like a horrible human being.

Going forward, when you clear bonuses, withdraw some of the balance at least.

That’s exactly what I tried to do. Once I cleared the bonus I tried to take some out, then this all happened

I was just stating a fact about a book, not making any judgement call or comment on the rule. I think it is strange too.

Just trying to work out what exactly Butch could be talking about.
