#947Hey dumb question guys so sorry in advanced. Is the fee for withdrawing money out of the ATM considered one of the 200 transactions, in order for BitPay to generate a 1099 form ?

#950Then you would have kept the transactions under 200 @ 24 & if the fee counts as a transaction as it is listed on the activity log. That’s 48 total you are in the clear by far. There’s a chance I will be using it way far often than that (regarding ATM withdrawals).Originally posted by TheMoneyShotOnly use my card typically twice a month on avg. #953I don't necessarily believe that Bitpay falls under the category of 200/$20,000. Just to be safe... you should never abuse the card... (several transactions etc.) But I understand you want to be extra cautious... and you should be.Originally posted by BeatTheJerkThen you would have kept the transactions under 200 @ 24 & if the fee counts as a transaction as it is listed on the activity log. #955Im American, and by default Americans are the worlds greatest conmen. Let me explain. First I will neither confirm nor deny if I have done this myself or know of someone who has done this. Plenty of local poker games have some questionable characters.. Deadbeats, druggies and people who just don’t care about sh!t. Suppose your willing to give a druggie, 100 for his ID and 100 plus some oxycodone for his social security number.. Boom! Bit pay card is now free and clear of you.. Head to local corner store buy a burner prepaid phone and your on the way to the last step. Probably the most important. Most people think bitcoin on block chain is anonymous... it isn’t. Invest in a good bitcoin mixer before you load funds on the card.. While not completely 100% anonymous the mixer is close to it. Don’t feel bad about it.. Remember taxation is legalized theft!Originally posted by play4winthese clowns now ask for verification with ID! these scumsComment -

#956ID and other verification is getting so prevalent now in BTC that the tightening has turned BTCOriginally posted by play4winthese clowns now ask for verification with ID! these scums
into less attractive method for guys like us. We are not interested in BTC as an investment.
Overpaying a lot for BTC without ID and risking getting scammed is not worth it. The tightening
is making BTC no different than USD. Private transactions are different but only the real private ones
with ppl you know are worth it, not the online players on Paxful or LBC.
State books are going to hurt offshore with Americans next year. I would rather provide ID
to the State that issued the ID and can be relied 100% to pay immediately and all the time if that's what
we are going to have to do. Not going to sweat taxes when the rate and trigger limits are so reasonable.
Plus BTC is very vulnerable for many reasons to another massive price drop.Comment -

#966Unless your transfering millions of dollars which is over their limit anyways I wouldn't worry about it. Its just like any other prepaid debit card. I've used places like these for years and they never bothered me about where money was coming from loading the card.Originally posted by ATC727Didn’t get one either, nor do I want to get one. I can't remember the exact details of that story... maybe another poster knows what I'm talking about and can chime in...Originally posted by jtolerbitpay card? thought earlier this month I saw reports about it being stopped
But there were 2 versions of the card.... the USA version is 100% fine and working.Comment -

#980Fake news. Card works fine I just loaded mine an hour ago. Bitcoin transfer from mycelium to card took under 10 seconds for cash to be available. To be honest I'm surprised the card has lasted this long but it is the best thing since the old neteller days as far as getting payouts from books. I don't understand why people are using coinbase or any of those other garbage exchanges trying to convert their bitcoin to cash.Originally posted by jtolerthis card doesnt work anymore does it why no mentionComment
