    Sportmarket
I often make bets on the NHL at the sportmarket I played a match yesterday Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild over 6 with overtime and shootouts, the match ended 4-3, but for some reason they gave me a refund. The day before that Buffalo Sabres vs. Chicago Blackhawks over 6 and the bet won the match also ended 4-3. How can it be that identical bets with an identical account are calculated differently, when the market was absolutely identical.

the bet isn't placed with Sportmarket directy, but with one of the bookies offered on their platform, so rules may vary.

Yout bet was placed with 3et, and in their case, as far as I can see, penalty shootouts don't seem to be counted for over/under (while at pinnacle for example, they are):

From 3et's rules: "Penalty shootouts are considered part of overtime but the amount of goals scored by each team in the penalty shootout does not count towards the settlement of Handicap or Total markets."

How then can there be bets and odds for different events in one field that are calculated according to different rules? At the sports market there is a field where the total can be bet on regular time. This is an outright deception.
Look, if a person bets 10,000 on more than 6.5, part of the bets will be placed on pinnacle part of 3et. If the score is 4-3 then only part of the bets will win. Why do they add bets on different outcomes according to different rules to one market? Why not create a separate market? This is a blatant deception of the players.

it's not great of course, but also not too uncommon. Tennis rules are often very different from bookie to bookie as well, for example.

You can uncheck bookies you don't like in the settings menu on Sportmarket.
