I made a wager on the Padres yesterday and now they are claiming a "bad line." The line was -141 when it should have been -151 they claim. The void was made 20 minutes after the bet was made and I was never notified of it. I guess you need to check every 5 minutes to make sure they do not void bets going forward.....

Just curious. Did you place the bet on the main site or on their super line or premier line platform. I have had bets cancelled recently on both due to "bad lines". The one on super line was ridiculous but Bas CS could not get any type of explanation from their processor. I stopped playing on their platforms. What is the point of finding a 5 cent better line there if they are going to claim "bad line" and cancel the bet AFTER it wins. I have not had any issues with their main site but honestly if you are only using that option they should change the name to "bet a few sports".Comment -

The bet was made on the regular site at 1220p. The line in question was up for over 2 minutes. They claimed they voided the bets 20 minutes after I bet them and I needed to check my transactions. I was never notified by email, text, or phone call either. I checked a day later and noticed my balance was missing $1000. A "bad line" would have been +141 not -141 I told them baseball lines move 10 cents all the time and next time I have a line move against me should I call in and have that line voided and get the better line? The response I got was this was not intentional but how are we going forward to have this prevented, you guys could claim that on every single line that moves against BAS?Comment -
It's ridiculous for them to cancel a bet you made at -141 that they claim should be -151. And don't even bother to notify you of the cancellation. If nothing else, this puts too much of a burden on their customers to continue to monitor any bets made prior to gametime just in case a bet would be cancelled. How to they expect to keep their customers?Comment -

They would not have to look like small time thieves acting that way if they actually monitored for real bad lines properly.
Several people have explained how they spent months picking off ridiculous line errors that were paid and cashed out 100 times for every time BAS noticed.
How they have so many errors is a good question too.
Bunch of amateurs.
Just take advantage of them and expect that they will take advantage of you at some point too and once they boot you move on and forget them.

Yeah I guess I was. But mostly meaning to just vent that this badly managed book would be nickel and diming the OP like this when anyone who looks can find real bad lines on their menu every single day.
They could go look at their own markets and fix those and not need to be worrying about the "10 cent bad line" BS like this..Comment -

All books should strive to clean up their act in this respect and not resort to the bad line excuse. Sloppy bookmaking!
