Negative balance on bovada from old transaction..
Logged into bovada today to -500 balance and asked them why. They said two deposits from back in January are being returned?? Said they would be back in my bank account by 7-10 business days.

Is this a real thing? I didn’t charge back or anything. 6 months seems like a long time for this to just now be happening. Does this mean the other transactions from that processor will also be returned eventually?

I've never seen a negative balance. Check your bank account.

Because BOVADA is a J.O.K.E. since the World Record DDoS attack last month. Rumor has it that new owner(s) don't give a rats a$$ about the customers. BEWARE!!!

^^^ Note For Thread Readers: Ant23 is on a campaign to damage Bovada. Nothing he says about them can be trusted. Please ignore him. Click "Posts" under his avatar to check his post history for yourself if in doubt.

It doesn't mean more will be reversed but it will probably be due to a third party processor not paying Bovada at a guess.

This is not unheard of at just about all offshore books occasionally and their terms will cover them doing it.

Customer Service will just tell you nothing can be done so don't bother with them. But quite often they eventually wave the debt if you can get to the right manager.

Either send an email starting out with the line please escalate this to a manager, and say something like 'I don't understand why you are reversing transactions for bets I have lost so I have to pay again. I don't want to have to pay Bovada an extra $500 just to be able to play again. Can you please wave this charge'.

The other best option is to make a post on the Bovada Community Forum, in the same style, and see if mods there can find a manager who will get it done.

Be aware that they will require you to wait at least 3 to 4 weeks to make sure the reversal has not come through still. And may want a copy of your card statement to show it hasn't been.

Clearing up the confusion. Bovada is telling me the payments will be returned to my bank account in the future but I need to pay bovada back now. I checked and in total since Feb I have 8 deposits totaling 2900 and all have that same description for the processor. That’s my concern that if this is legit it’s going to pop up again and I’m going to be annoyed.

Just seems off, I’ve used offshore since 08 and never had a book do something like that.

So these two were not the last ones you made with that same descriptor?

I get the concern if so.

Worth asking the mods on their forum if they can get you more information about whats going on.

You can probably trust them to make you good if the reversal does not eventually come through btw. If you pay it back now so you can play.
