I saw this on Twitter, apparently Betnow cancelled all bets on the Chiefs once the news came out that Aaron Rodgers was gonna miss the game. Really disappointing stuff from a book I had heard good things about

#2Yes. So did the BetPhoenix family of books from what I've been told. The reason so many people are complaining about this is because BetNow and Phoenix these are among the softer books, and they left the stale lines up a lot longer than other places.Originally posted by davethegamblerI saw this on Twitter, apparently Betnow cancelled all bets on the Chiefs once the news came out that Aaron Rodgers was gonna miss the game. #3So betnow cancels your bet any time you get good injury info? Yikes, why do so many people recommend it?Originally posted by DontTailMeYes. #4That is complete BS.
I have a bad feeling, now that SBR exited helping the players who built their site, on a moments notice with no warning, the lesser offshore books will start doing whatever the hell they want, with no recourse.Comment -

#5I'm not saying that necessarily. But this was not just any injury - it moved the line a touchdown. And they left this particular line up for way too long.Originally posted by davethegamblerSo betnow cancels your bet any time you get good injury info? #6Then let's build a community elsewhere where they have offshore support. Huge candidate there for the taking.Originally posted by FrankThat is complete BS.

#9I won’t play at GTBets any longer. They like to pull BS from time to time and SBR could make them jump almost instantaneously.Originally posted by FrankThat is complete BS.

#11I guess I read this incorrectly and I can’t find anything on twitter aside from a random post. OP said “Betnow cancelled all bets on the Chiefs once the news came out that Aaron Rodgers was gonna miss the game.”Originally posted by big joe 1212I doubt anyone was playing the Packers with that line
did they cancel ALL bets placed before the news came out too or did they cancel all bets placed after the news came out but before they changed the line?

#13davethegamblerGood question. I assumed that they only cancelled bets placed after the news came out because I have acquaintances who tried taking advantage of their stale line. If they cancelled ALL bets, even those placed before the news, that would obviously be 100X worse.Originally posted by PD77I guess I read this incorrectly and I can’t find anything on twitter aside from a random post. #15That's not a bad line. If the book is late to react to information, that's on them. This is disgraceful behavior from these books.Originally posted by big joe 1212If you placed your wager after the line changed everywhere else, you know it’s a bad line. #18Almost a year ago, when stuff started to be legalized, I got as far away from softer books as possible. They have to be hurting the most, the squares will be the first to go to legal books.Comment -

#20Yep.Originally posted by Waterstpub87Almost a year ago, when stuff started to be legalized, I got as far away from softer books as possible. They have to be hurting the most, the squares will be the first to go to legal books.
These mid range books are gonna get hurt and go broke.
No more squares, only sharps, and they have no idea how to book on their own.
Copying lines from other books can work when there are plenty of squares to balance things.
Only the books that book to action, and understand how to do it, are going to survive, and there aren't many that do.
The ones that just kick out anyone who wins will have no more customers.
I bet we see a whole lot more of shady stuff like this happening, from these lesser books offshore, going forward.Comment -

#21I am not sure what they did, I didn’t bet the chiefs line at betnow, I was just relaying what I heard from people on Twitter. Some on there had their chiefs bets cancelled but I’m not sure if they had bet it before or after news brokeOriginally posted by DontTailMedavethegambler

#22There is a particular family that offers massive freeplay percentages with high rollover. They call me frequently. Not sure what to say, I'm not going to deposit there again. One day they will stop paying people, its bound to happen, and then who cares how much freeplay they offer.Originally posted by FrankYep.

#23Sportsbetting.ag?? As in, BetOnline?? Are you sure about that? They're one of the books I would have assumed: (a) updated their lines fairly quickly, and (b) ate whatever bets beat them.Originally posted by Sea TurtleI believe Sportsbetting did.
