Do most sportsbooks do manual reviews of accounts before allowing withdrawals?
Looking for some advice here (Optional has already been super helpful, but would like to see if anybody else has anything to add) - have large bodog.eu balance, mid-6 figures. Initial deposit was ~100k in total. Generally I tend to avoid withdrawing because I don't need the money and am afraid that withdrawing from sites triggers manual reviews, which may result in me getting collared/limited. Is this a thing that books do when they review withdrawal requests (i.e. review account betting activity, account win/loss, etc)? I don't want to do anything that will result in me getting limited faster -not *super* concerned about getting paid out by bodog - but am concerned about this.
I also don't know why I haven't been limited on bodog yet. I bet live lines, could be why.
I have withdrawn from bodog but that was many years ago when I wasn't as sharp (won $3k on esports, withdrew with no issues).

EDIT: thanks for the people who gave me real responses. All my max bets were reduced by half anyway so I decided to start withdrawing.

strange question from a high roller. whats the point of wagering if your afraid that a withdrawal will cause you to be limited. kinda sounds suspicious to be asking this

I’ve used the same sbr A+ rated book here for over 10 years, none of my personal info has changed in that time. 3 days ago I put in a btc wd request and it triggered an account/payout review. Nothing came of it I was paid in a few hours but I attribute the review to sbr bailing on offshore

I don't really understand this comment - the purpose of wagering...is to win money. How does the first clause of that sentence relate to the second? I can wager money without withdrawing...and withdraw after the account gets collared as that's usually what I do .
What makes this suspicious? What do I have to gain about lying from this?

Obviously I didn't expect to run up the balance to mid-6 figures. Pinnacle has the sharpest lines in the industry, and would be much harder to win $$ on. Also, live limits are 1/3 - 1/6 of bodog's on the sports I wager on.

Is your account up a lot? I'm more interested in if it's a soft book and triggering the account review may cause you to get collared/limited.

Once you win six digits from any book, you will get limited in certain aspects guaranteed.

As the title says - I have won mid-6 figures and am not limited in anything but esports (happened years ago). This was very recent however and maybe after a month I will get limited

Its kind of a dumb question to ask if books do a manual review before large withdrawals.... of course they do. They are in the business of making money. They are not going to let you continuously beat them.

The reason they havent limited you yet is because you haven't withdrawn that money.

Of course they do manual reviews before withdrawals - I'm just trying to see if people have personal anecdotes about getting collared after withdrawing specifically. You make it seem like once I start withdrawing I will get flagged, so I'll probably just keep playing until I get limited by somebody looking at the account or something else

Yes, they do. I'm a little surprised that the sheer size of your balance hasn't caused them to review and limit your account, quite frankly. But they will most likely take a look at things when you go to pull money out. But what are you going to do? Never withdra?. At some point, you have to reduce your risk.

That's what I've been thinking. Thanks

No problems so far in withdrawing - have withdrawn 100k so far. Can do $38,000 CAD every 3 days in crypto. Did get limited to 1/2 - 1/4 for live KBO, NPB, NCAAF, NFL, Euroleague basketball but not sure if it was related to starting withdrawals or not.

Glad to hear it worked out well.

And that you chose to start withdrawing.

And that the limits have not been smashed to nothing.

Pinnacle doesnt have the volume of b365 but being the sharpest on the line, a run on one side or the other can come hard and fast. Their infrastructure cant handle b365 volume Pinnacle seems to be happy right where they are. New mobile app soon to be released. They need to invest in live trading and capable platform.
