Anyone have one recently? Their page says 15 days which i dont understand how it's not done in one day.

How about courier check?

Trying to avoid converting a large amount of cash unless necessary.

I'd say 15 days is a maximum, for any bank, anywhere.

But realistically I'd expect it to only take a few days really.

Don't know though as have not seen a payment report using wire there for ages that I can remember.

Ok thanks. If im paying $60 or 3% depending how much i withdraw, plus whatever my bank charges (probably $20), i would expect the wire to be processed within a day not 15.

If it is from one major bank to another, it's more like 8 hours these days.

But who knows what bank the payment processor uses and where it is located and if that bank has a direct or intermediary settlement agreement with your bank. And how automated each bank in the chain along the way. If it goes through 3 banks and each take a day to manually process it, that's where the time comes in.

It would be good to know how long it takes and what charges you get hit with.

Many (most?) banks do not charge to receive wire deposits, but sometimes the sender bank or intermediary banks along the way can tack on fees. And no one can tell you beforehand if it will happen or how much they will be btw.

Digital transfers that avoid the parasitic banking system really are the way to go I think.

I used it recently, and it only took a day or two, although it was bank transfer from the US to Europe. Don't think I have ever waited more than a week, if at all

edit: just checked again, two days it was. $60 fee at Betonline, $25 fee at the US bank, EUR 13,50 fee at mine.
