[RESOLVED] Betonline Account Permanently Closed

Betonline casino closed my account (as well as my Sportsbetting account) and confiscated my funds citing "tournament abuse" after I had deposited $680 with which I placed a $500 wager on a WTA game brining the total to $1385, then a single hand of European Blackjack bringing the total to $1410. I have not been informed of any reason for the termination past tournament abuse, or creating multiple accounts and entering the same tournament. The only accounts I have are one Betonline and one Sportsbetting account, which I have entered and placed well in the same daily tournaments. However, I was under the impression that a user could have a betonline account and sportsbetting account enter into the same daily tournament, as I was told by multiple agents that it should be fine. I have not made money overall playing tournaments at the betonline casino, as despite placing well frequently I was unable to complete the 50x rollover out of dozens of attempts other than a couple of instances, mainly because I was playing for fun. The funds initially deposited ($680) which I ran up to $1385 in sportsbook are completely unrelated to the casino. Please help me, will I be able to get my money back from betonline?

Betonline did you wrong... It's probably all just a big misunderstanding. Aren't they the poster child of great books that pay in 10 minutes or so.....

I have already filled out a complaint form on sportsbookreview, is there anything else I can do? Customer support appears to be giving me the runaround, first claiming the review will be within 24-48 hours, then 72 hours, then claiming it is not priority so there is no ETA. Now they claim that since the account was closed I no longer have any affiliation with them, and that the account balance is $24, that over $1000 of funds have been taken out of the account. Any other options I have to give a further explanation or get my money back?

come on man! you know that its against the rules for you to enter any poker or blackJack Tourney with accounts @ 2 different skins. Just cause some 1st level CS rep said its fine doesnt mean a thing. You knew what you where doing here. They are right to kick you out and confiscate funds related to the Tourney's. The tricky part is if they can confiscate funds that you made off any winnings bet on other stuff.

Once you start the game of collusion and multiple accounts the Books just dont tolerate it and funds won playing in the MTT's that are used to wager other events are all tied in. Guys like OP who collude in Tourneys's Poker or whatever deserve have all funds confuscated.

I don't know that it's against the terms to enter the blackjack tournaments from both accounts. In poker, you're supposed to establish one account for use. They don't want you flip-flopping from one to the other.

To clarify I do not play poker, I entered daily freeplay tournaments.

Yeah, playing casino games online is not my thing anywhere .
These offshore places seem to need them. I don't know how THEY lose money with casino games or raking poker hands...Maybe the Costa Rica govt will help...

Of course you can't enter the same tournament with 2 different accounts. It's people like this that ruin it for everyone. They should keep all of your money and you should be required to pay a fine.

They normally would not touch your sportsbook balance based on what you have said.

From my point of view, it started nearly as soon as I made a $680 deposit which I ended at $1410 due to sportsbook. They claim they will no longer be investigating as the investigation is over and that they will keep my money.

I do not know when this started. I suppose it started when I foolishly entered into the same tournaments with my betonline account and sportsbetting account and place well. The conversation about no ETA means that on their end, the case is solved. I would simply like the $1400 I had sitting in my account which they change and are claiming it's$23.

What do you mean by "when this started?". The best answer I can give is sometime this year, though entering my sportsbetting and betonline account in to the same tournaments was fairly recent.

I was asking 1) what date did the bookmaker tell you about this problem and 2) What date did they say to you "there is no ETA for the investigation".

It sounds like you have hassled them so hard as soon as told of an investigation some individual in there is just coming back at you to shut you up.

Betonline will not just boot you and say nothing and take your money. You can be sure of that.

As bad as it sounds, there will still be an investigation happening whatever the CS person said to you.


Can I suggest that you do not use live chat at all for this? You can't speak to the right people that way.

Send an email no more than once or twice a week, and say nothing more than "My account has been locked since 9/8/21, can you tell me when your investigation will be finished?"

Frustrating as waiting is, berating them definitely will not help, and could hurt your chances of successfully passing this.

To add on to my original post and answer your question, they claim the account is permanently closed (by the casino department) every time I speak with them, and then claim that is the final decision. When I ask about returning the funds they simply give me the runaround or plainly state they will not do it. I never received the chance to speak with anyone despite multiple claims that I would receive the opportunity, my account was simply permanently closed, as I stated previously.
