Off Shore Sites Getting Murdered By US Sites.
The proof is in the count. US Betting sites took in over 8 BILLION dollars more in 2020 than 2019. Even though the total take for the game is expected to drop by about 37% from last year, thanks to Covid 19, the take by state books could increase by as much s 63% over last year. What all this means is simple. No matter what people like JJ Gold and other SBR employees tell you, Off Shore wagering is taking it on the chin. as I told everyone in here that it would.

The US Books will not put the off shore guys out of business, but they are sure putting the big hurt on them, especially when it comes to U.S. players and U.S. Dollars. Still want to waste you money on illegitimate off shore books that can rob you blind, be my guest. Just read some of the articles in this Sub Forum. Guys looking for free handouts ALWAYS LOSE. That is why there are so many LOSERS in here.

FanDuel shorted me precisely 90% of my golf outright payout (paid me 10% of what they owed me down to the penny), and they refused to respond to any of my emails. They finally paid me the missing 90% with a manual adj., but zero explanation.

It was clear that they are manually punching in winning wagers and left off a zero. Let that sink in. Been betting online for 25 years; never experienced an "error" quite like this one.

Anyone that thinks the real offshore books of the world (not the fly by nights) are taking it on the chin because of the shit venues to bet at in the States has no clue what is really going on. FTR fanduel would be considered a fly by night as far as sportsbooks go. Either way though that sucks Barakuda.

Offshore doing just fine. Only a few states even have legal books. Several states will never make it legal. If offshore is doing so bad how come not 1 single book has closed? Even the small books are doing well. Offshore much better and pays faster. The big books do not rip off customers. 9 times out of 10 the complaints on here were players trying to scam. The legit complaints the book fixes the issue. No reason whatsoever to use U.S books.

Ah for now it feels like the breaking down of the taboo about sports betting in the USA is probably helping all sportsbooks.

I'm sure they are being squeezed somewhat. But until the US Govt abolishes the silly tax on betting winnings there is time for the old school offshores to adjust.

Legal books are great for future bets, some of their promotions, and steering any serious bettors towards offshores if they want a real shot at making money.

if/when ny goes legal i will probably pay in the 1 book cuomo will allow and also keep wagerweb or bookmaker so i can compare lines and still get good overall bonuses. the advantage of legal is knowing you will be paid and some of the promos are cool for a small time guy like me.

We're getting closer in Washington, HB passed but still limits action to tribal casinos and still in the process of being set up, slowly. Mobile app is still the key for big numbers, hopefully we're legal here by summer. I'll still use offshore but less.

Fwiw it would be crazy to stop playing into any sports outfit that you deem 100% trustworthy. The more outs you have the more you can price shop which indirectly cuts into the vig. Price shopping IMO is the #1 tool in being a winning sportsgambler. Obviously other skills are involved but shopping the best number is by far the most important tool IMO.

What are you talking about? I've played at countless books over the years and made all sorts of wagers. Never been stiffed, even by C or D rated books.

I'm sure US books are trustworthy too. But that doesn't tell the whole story...
JJ is right about the legal books: the offerings suck, the promos suck once they're established in a state, etc
