Seeing some posts of people failing location checks at US books. All the books use Geocomply software to verify location. The software looks for wi-fi networks other than your own. If you are in a city with lots of wi-fi networks you probably don't have any issues. Those in suburban or rural areas are more prone to problems. I installed a Brostrend long range wi-fi adapter which seems to have fixed my location issues. It looks like a football goal post. I can now see my neighbors wi-fi networks. Have not had any location problems since installing the long range adapter.
