Why does BetOnline Freeze lines for so long

For example I have been trying to live bet team total lines for the Bengals vs Steelers and they are all frozen. Only ML spread and over/under are working.

Occasionally the drive prop bets unfreeze.

When doing college basketball they will freeze all lines for the entire game. Im like what is the point of having live betting when you freeze the lines so much and for so long?

they have me on a timer so i have 0 chance of getting in any bet on hoops, except possibly on a timeout

I've noticed that all US-facing live betting platforms do this. I always check it against Bet365 and Marathonbet, and always find that those books don't freeze lines for more than a second or two (unless something extremely significant happens that would require manual intervention on lines)

Probably because the lines are often stale. I've made good profits middling the live NCAA BKT, NCAA FB, and NFL lines against Bookmaker. Had 40.5-43.5 in the Steelers game today and the last second FG cost me $500.. But these opportunities always abound..Tomorrow is another day. I've found depending on the time left in game if you can set up a 3 Point NFL middle, or 4 points plus in BKT usually is plus EV.
