I submitted a complaint 7 weeks ago and have not heard anything. I also responded to the auto-generated complaint receipt email, as Optional suggested. Just wondering if I should reach out to another mediator/agency.

A lot of complaints. And not many. Mostly only clear scammers or abusive fools get ignored.

Did your complaint form start out saying the book is definitely a scam and definitely wont be paying you? Or taking a shot at SBR for the rating? Or just generally demanding SBR does this or that or else it proves we are corrupt?

      That might do it.

And I will guess the sort of person who starts a passive aggressive public thread instead of just PMing me again to let me know you still haven't been assisted, might just fall into one of the above categories...

LOL. Your hunch is wrong, but I can see why you feel that way. I could have PM'd, yes, but wanted to hear from others rather than a source with a natural bias/duty to make his employer look good. I know SBR provides this service to the community for free, so I'm grateful there. But yes, I also know that there are a ton of complaints that come in, and I don't believe SBR has a huge staff.

To be fair, SBR does receive numerous complaints. From my experience their response has been hit or miss. My last complaint this summer went unanswered. However the complaint before that was addressed and I did benefit from that. As far as changing mediators that is up to you. I get your frustration after 7 weeks of no response. It also doesn't bode well when the moderator you reached out to has predetermined you to be be a scammer or fool. Whatever way you go, I hope your dispute gets resolved to your satisfaction.

                        Unfortunately this is true.

But bad mouthing your attorney is not the best way to get good representation.

If I wanted anybody looking into an offshore issue, SBR would be my choice.

That being said I wish you the best and am sure it will get resolved even if it isn’t the result you wanted.

Sorry, don't mean to be coming off as 'bad mouthing'. I know they have a high volume of complaints. I also prefer that they handle it, which is why I came here first instead of another service.

It's cool. He has been waiting a long time.

It appears there was a little confusion over email addresses. An agent should be in contact and on the job now.
