Books should not require confirmation for bitcoin deposit

It's not called "risk elimination". It's called "risk management". There needs to be a balance between that and customer service. I would think that there should be some account criteria they can come up with which would make make their losses very small.

I think a business opp popped up for processing crypto for the books and this third party business may be driving it as much as anything else.

If the book does it inhouse they can probably handle zero confirms better.

Yeah, that may very well be. Introducing a 3rd party into the mix makes things tricky because they have to have clear terms.
