If they honored MLB and NBA they should honor that. That will scare customers away. I thought the Hilton/Westgate sports book was one of the best??

there is a difference between a season-long futures bet and an EVENT bet, like the french open or masters, or individual game

B&M sportsbooks need to be really really sure before voiding, as so many losers will not know to claim their money back.

It does sound like a normal rule though...

Exactly. A more useful comparison would be how they handled the US Open and Masters futures. If those bets were voided then they were consistent. Perhaps Gil knew the bet was void and was the one running the freeroll. If Swiatek loses he shows up for a refund. If she wins he shows up demands payment and uses his radio show to pressure the WG into a settlement. He said he cashed other tickets on the event. I would be curious when those bets were made. I thought it as inappropriate for VSIN to allow Gil to use his show to air this issue to the extent that was done. Now westgate has banned all interaction with VSIN.

WG refunded all the bets back in March. Why didnt Gil go get his refund and re bet?
Gil also is a personal friend of 2 people who work at tge WG
Why didnt he txt or call them and ask if my wager is still valid?
Seems like Gil is just another clown looking for content for his show.

Gil doesn't look good here. WG refunded the bets in March when it was cancelled. I just can't believe someone like Gil wasn't aware of this and he knows better to check on his bet to either confirm it stands or get his refund and re bet it later.
