Betting from OVERSEAS as USA citizen! Problem
Hey guys, my account was flagged as disallowing withdrawals (thought not a lot of money in this account). I am a USA citizen but traveling for an extended period of time overseas, perhaps as long as 1 to 3 years.

Has anyone else had this problem? i opened my account in the USA. how did you deal with it? I suspect they think im suspicious because the internet traffic is coming from asia, but im from the USA and my account was opened there.

If you cannot get proof of address docs the book will accept for the country you are visiting, I would be evry careful. Whatever CS tells you will not affect what the security decides if they check you.

Does this book only service USA people? And not want to serve you from another country? Normally you are fine with the US facing offshores if on a trip, but there are some countries like UK & Australia that they will freak out if you try to bet from.

Poster Flyingillini should be able to help you with advice on what books are available to you from there. He won't mind a PM message.

One more, thing, the site is not based in the usa, i think most betting sites have countries they blacklist from betting, and i may very well have crossed into countries on the list using this account or another one, but at present time cambodia does not have any restriction on gambling, in fact they have casinos here

Have a chat to Flyingillini and tell him the book. He may have some experience with how they deal with Americans in that part of the world that will help.

Slight addition... my account was flagged because i am a USA citizen who is currently on a world trip so they obviously wanted to know why a NYC account was signing on from other countries to make a withdrawal, i verified my identity so problem solved.

I was allowed to bet for 11 weeks as a losing account at Cloudbet, on the 12th week I made a nice run of $1,300 to $40k and cashed it all out. I then re-deposited $25,000 and withdrew $15,000 and they are trying to evaporate the account balance selectively, for what seems like a mis-understanding about a pushed/cancelled tennis retirement wager for $3,000 instead of a loss. They froze the account and are selectively telling me I can't receive my deposits back because I have a winning account, but it's even a longer story. I used to have an account a long long time ago, it's an anonymous crypto sportsbook and that was my mistake. Long story short, it's a lot of money and you can read the latest post in my thread on this to see a screenshot of a past sincere post from one of their plethora of accusations of freezing accounts.

In it they said they always pay account balances of USA players connecting with VPN or other terms of service violations. I lost $30,000 on the site in the past and in this account I won a little back, if they paid I'd still be down $10,000 on the site.

Just a FYI. If you accept the action for 11 weeks of a losing account depositing and withdrawing, then accept the action on the 12th week from a winning account but upon cashout freeze the account and confiscate all the deposits, then cite terms of service when you have a precedent of solving these cases by awarding back the balance to a player caught using VPN- it is alarming and is possible concern for liquidity issues or other strange tactics to take down a winner and take some of the money back lost to this account.

Anyways drop a line if you feel it's not right to take the deposits/account balance of a winning account. I had zero balance until I deposited about $25,000 in a 24 hour period then they won't return the last $15,000 I went to withdraw (the bitcoin cash price has gone up significantly since then). They haven't responded in weeks and have told me the case is closed maybe 5x now.

Trust me, nobody should have to go through this, and I will never break a TOS again when betting if I can help it. But please get in touch with me Cloudbet- however I will drag this on for however long I need to.

Thanks for your support Cam and anyone reading this. The thread is in this same forum section (sportsbooks section) and you can see my latest post outlining their past case resolution where they said they always pay account balances with co-operation.

Sorry about that, yea i guess i can see that there are a number of other people who have had their accounts seized because they broke the rules that are listed in the fine print, which i myself did not bother to read either... i guess the moral of the story is that a betting site is not a bank especially not a usa bank that is insured by the federal govt. Lucky for me i am in a country that allows online gambling, if you check each site each one of them has bans on certain countries and some even the usa so ill definitely be paying attention to those rules going forward. good luck.
