Best way to hedge a $500 free bet

It's similar but not exactly the same. I assume you are getting the $500 "wager back" from betus? It does work similar to FP in that the bigger the dog you bet it on the more value it has. Just bet it on a big underdog and you'll get max value.

Oh, I totally missed that the what OP gets back in the event of a loss is another FP. Yeah, it's similar, but you have to account for the reduced value of the FP, which that calculator obviously doesn't do.
