I wouldn't look for trends, especially in a sample of two. What I've noticed from this book is that their application of bonuses is very subjective and seems to depend greatly on which agent you talk to, maybe what mood they're in.

The first call they tried telling me that I could get the bonus, but since I had money with them already, they were going to add my available and pending balances onto the 5X rollover, which would have been insane. Called back and eventually got a full bonus with normal rollover.

My friend initially got flat out denied and was then granted the bonus when he called back.

Try calling at a different time of day so that you're hopefully getting a different shift.

Yeah, I was only looking to deposit enough to receive a $500 bonus, so was expecting (100+100)*5 = $5,000 rollover. But adding my $4,000 pending/available on top of that would have given me a rollover of $25,000 for the same $500 bonus.
