    RIP Brian from Bookmaker
It came to my attention that Brian, one of the mainstays at Bookmaker passed away. I dealt with him a lot over the years. He gave the book a personal touch. Always assisted me with anything I needed. The kind of guy that went to bat for you. His Canadian accent was always a welcoming sound. It was enjoyable to do a little small talk here and there and discuss our bad beats. Or what it’s like living in Costa Rica and maybe getting together for a beer one day. It was clear to see that he was a genuine sweet family man. He will be missed. I was told the employees at Bookmaker are devastated. That shows the kind of person he was.

    RIP Brian.

Some respect you're showing huh? You couldn't even take 5 seconds to make sure you put an actual sentence with proper spelling and grammar together.

                  RIP Brian.

                        was it a surprising death?

just hate hearing when someone dies in general and others are greatly affected

I'm surprised. He's been there for years. Hard to miss the heavy Canadian accent. He was one of the supervisors, but handled the phones also.

Seems like it was sudden. I asked if it was Covid related and was told - NO.

Early to mid 50's. He sounded younger on the phone though. I used to get caught up talking to him so long that finally, he'd be like ok man- gotta go. lol.
