How does your sportsbook grade a match in which a team is quarantined and replaced?

The other day there was a soccer match between Sochi and Rostov where the latter had to quarantine and use a U18 squad while Sochi played its first team and won handily.

In cases like these, 5D's position is as long as the teams listed are correct, the bets will stand.

Jazz will cancel bets where a whole team is quarantined and the healthy team has an unfair advantage.

Curious if you had these same experiences with your sportsbooks or if you've run into any COVID-impacted matches. The books do not have clear rules around these circumstances AFAIK.

Bets should stand unless they have it specified in the rules imo. You bet on a team, it's up to books to adjust odds when there are team news. It has happened in the past that teams have fielded b-teams or juniors for whatever reason, so this is nothing new for covid times.
Does Jazz have this covered in their rules?

should pay. They were just late to move, thats on them.

None of them have rules on this stuff but all books have a disclaimer that they can cancel a wager at any time for whatever reason.

Every book that doesn't pay in such cases must be considered as scam.

There should be no ambiguity at all IMHO.

You don't get bet voids for team changes any other time.

Haven't read Jazz rules but the way you say it, it sounds very subjective for a betting term.

For those less familiar with soccer- would this be like the yankees being quarantined and the full triple A team takes over 1 day? But counts in yankees standing/same uniform etc?

Yes.

It happens in soccer occasionally, the entire Under 19s squad taking over for example, even without covid.
