Intertops - Closed account to avoid paying bets?
Well over a year ago, I placed a 6:1 $100 bet and 11:1 $50 bet on Joe Biden that would have paid out $1150. When I tried to withdraw $175 that I had in my account, I believe Intertops closed my account to avoid potentially paying these wagers, because the Vegas odds had gone from (11:1) to (~3.5:1), since I placed the original wagers.

Their reason was that my account "did not pass our recent security checks." When I asked them what security checks they repeated the same reason. I previously tried to withdraw $350 from them and the last correspondence from them regarding my security documents was "Your account has been updated and documents approved."

I submitted a complaint and emailed help@sportsbookreview.com on 5/23/19, but never received a response.

Anything you can do to help?

I bleed with ya. I use Intertops extensively and they have some very shady practices. If you're interested in more details, I posted this on another thread: https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...l#post29510670

One thing that might give you a little leverage is Intertops is legal, German licensed sportsbook so they really can't just screw players over with impunity. They can be sued in German court (and you're certainly free to remind them of that fact if you've genuinely been abused.)

In any event, GL to you!

What did they do with your pending bets?

Cash them out based on current odds? Void them totally?
