Old BitPay card shutdown. New one available

I've used the virtual card for online purchases without a hitch(Amazon)

never could use the oldV for anything online.

Just received the new card in the mail. Have not yet to test out withdrawals at ATMs yet. Have anyone? Limits are $2K per transaction and $6K per DAY!

I called. Per the CS rep, they aren't offering that yet for this version.

Just installed the new mobile app and ordered new card. Had to verify with pictures of DL, selfie and SSN.

I exclusively used their website (on a desktop) from different outside wallets to fund the old card.

Now it looks like mobile app and bitpay wallet only to load the new card.

I had to verify with photos of DL and a selfie. I'm curious why some have to verify with this info and some don't. I've had an active Bitpay card since they started. It was my first time using the mobile app and I've never had a bitpay wallet (looks like I'll need one with the new card).

This is getting ridiculous. Sent them all my info and pictures and they can't verify me. I've been a dam customer since the beginning. Why all this new verification when they already have my info? These places are ridiculous. I can open a regular bank account without sending personal photos to the bank. Maybe I need to smile in the photo? What the fuk?

I deleted the app and installed the bitpay app again but to no avail. Once I sign in and then try to sign up for the ** I get the same message of "just a second, we're setting a few things up." It's stuck on this screen and I can't move past this. Help? Anyone else having the same issue?

I got the email from them today, I noticed you have to have $10 in your account to request the new card. If I remember correctly it was around that amount for the previous card as well. Is this just another money grab?

yeah....it took them about 3 days,and they finally got back to me with a fix.(it had something to do with my zip-code input)

But as soon as they found a solution...it took me 5 minutes to get it ordered

That wasn't true for me. I requested with no money and it said I would not be charged for new card. My problem is proving my identity when I'm already a customer lol.

I'm not sure what you mean. I paid $10 for the original V isa card. I did not pay a cent for the new M C card, and BitPay shouldn't be able to access the money in our wallets anyways. So how would it be a cash grab?

Unfortunately, reloads from the website are no longer offered for the new card. That means they won't generate a QR code that you can scan from any 3rd party bitcoin wallet. You first have to get send the bitcoin to your BitPay wallet, and then load from within the mobile app.

After reload, the ATM withdrawal should work fine. I'm still hoping that they add ACH withdrawals for the new card. That was the only reason I used BitPay.

Look at your BitPay app. You should have a BTC wallet in there and a tab for your card accounts. So you send BTC to the BitPay BTC wallet just like any other bitcoin transaction. Once it is in that wallet, you can load the card from there within the app.

2. Select the M C card
3. Click Add Funds
4. Enter amount
5. Select wallet to pull funds from
6. Confirm

I don't understand your question. Why would we be using the crypto.com app here? We're talking about the BitPay card, right? My instructions above are for the BitPay app.

If the conversation somehow flipped to the MCO/Crypto.com card, then the load instructions are completely different.

I hope Bitpay makes their mobile app better if we have to use it and their wallets exclusively.

Bitpay is now just a worse version of Crypto.com in my opinion.

Bitpay gets the job done, but if I had to recommend one or the other, it would be crypto.com 99% of the time right now.
