Pinnacle - Interac e-Transfer now available for $CAD accounts!

This is the absolute best method for sending or receiving Canadian Dollars using a Canadian based financial institution bar none.

Better than bitcoin, skrill, neteller, wire, etc etc etc. Not even close.

Pinnacle now offering this payment method for transactions up to $3000 CAD.

Many banks and/or credit unions charge $1.50 to send an Interac e-Transfer, receiving is always free. There are also institutions that offer free Interac e-Transfers. Transfers take a maximum of 60 minutes to process but usually are much faster.

Thanks for this info. Yes I use muchbetter as well but prefer etransfer as it removes 1 step of the withdrawal process.

I tried the interac etransfer deposit option at Pinnacle last week. Here is how it went:
Go to Pinny cashier, select deposit method interac etransfer, get directed to classic cashier and re-select it there.

Request deposit amount of $500 CAD. Transaction gets accepted, told to wait for email.
Approx 45 mins later I get this email:

I click on accept request and am taken to my motusbank (virtual online only bank) login. I proceed to authorize the transaction and funds are instantly removed from my chequing acct.

Wait another 45 mins and receive a second email advising that Pinnacle has received the deposit.

I will be requesting a payout of $500 from Pinny via interac etransfer to see how the process goes. I bet German Bundesliga futbol and rolled over my $500 deposit in the casino well over 10X where I managed to get ahead about $1000. So Pinny has no reason to decline the withdrawal.

I will post the results here after the etransfer withdrawal has been completed.

Ok, so my withdrawal via etransfer was declined because I used iDebit to deposit previously. So Pinnacle tells me I need to withdraw via iDebit to clear previous iDebit deposits and then future withdrawals may be done via etransfer. Completely reasonable and I understand why this is required.

one per month free, then $18 each. If I am betting big and winning then $18 doesn't bother me. Payouts are good. If I paid $90 in fees for the month I've taken 5 payouts, thats the object of the game.

You can also structure withdrawals so that you take a free payout on the last day of the month and another on the first day of the next month.

Pinny pays fast and hassle free so no complaints here.

BTW while my first etransfer payout was denied they paid out via iDebit in 20 minutes.

Just used this. So easy. Requested 400CAD. Told to wait for email. After maybe 20 minutes get an email. I accept the request. After about half hour I get an email from the bank that the transaction is complete and from pinnacle customer service that my account had been funded.

Hey guys just an update on the e-transfer withdrawal method. I requested 700 CAD interac e-transfer today. I got an email within 10 minutes from pinnacle customer service saying the interac e-transfer withdrawal was accepted. It says on pinnacle website that e-transfers will be deposited within 1 business day. I get an email about an hour and a half later with the interac e-transfer and the money. You get a text I’m assuming from pinnacle with a “secret answer” for the e-transfer. Click on the email, click on your bank type in the “secret answer” and you get your money. No fee because you get one free e-transfer a month. So easy and no fee. I don’t think I’ll ever use another method.

Sportsinteracton also has this deposit method. Maybe they always have, but I only recently noticed and just deposited there now via this method and the funds were credited pretty much instantly. If and when it comes time for a withdrawal I'll update then, but things always go very well with SIA when it comes to Instadebit so I imagine there will be no problems with etransfer either...

Received my first payout from Pinnacle via interac e transfer this past weekend (Oct 4).

Requested payout in Pinnacle cashier at approx 4:30PM. Pinny approved the withdrawal within 15 minutes.

At approx 7:15PM (less than 3 full hours later) I received my interac etransfer. Was notified via email and by text message on my phone.

Security answer was supplied via text. Funds deposited to my EQ bank account with no holds, entire balance available.

Very happy with this service. Extremely satisfied Pinnacle customer.

received a few payouts via etransfer. It seems a safer than just sending an etransfer to mohammad@gmail.com, as you receive request for fundsfrom a 3rd party, traceability. Busy days of soccer and football, expect delays.
