Playing at various sportsbooks while traveling - any reported issues?
    Hey guys,

So, I am currently traveling since lockdowns are starting to ease up. However, I just realized that my IP address is all over the map. I'm currently staying at a hotel outside of my home-state and the Hotel ip address is coming up as 1 state away from where I am currently staying. Also, my phone IP address is still pulling up as my home state. Which is weird.

Has anyone ever had problems with any of the sportsbooks when playing or cashing out or depositing while traveling? Does anyone have any advice on how to handle playing while traveling? Has anyone had their winnings confiscated as a result of having their IP show up in a state outside of their home state? Just curious.

I was thinking about getting a VPN, but that really will not help as most sportsbooks ban use of VPNs.

Anyone else having similar concerns or care to share anecdotal stories of what happens when you mix travel with betting sites?

    Thanks

With offshore books I've never had a problem getting paid when in a different state. If they ask anything just tell them your traveling. It shouldn't be an issue.

      Depends on the book.

If you are talking USA regulated books, could be an issue. But if you are just travelling and doing nothing else suspicious to them, still should not be a serious issue.
