Betting offer in time of Corona
    Hi,
has anyone noticed how ridicilous betting offer on sportsbook is? So many stuff that's easy to manipulate and lot of events without any informations. For example, I checked bet365 sportsbook last few days and this is just part of the funny stuff I found:

Football- offering simulations same as all bookmakers. Issue are ghost matches, matches which have never been played and you cant find any info about. So far bet365 has avoided most of them, but these simulations are waste of time and money.

Tennis- ATP/WTA have for years been criticising ITF to stop selling livescore rights in order to reduce match fixing etc. Now, bookmakers offer level which is way under ITF. You have Premier league, Moscow pro league and more exhibition events in which players play 2-3 times per day for 20e per match and have no motive to win whatsoever. And suprisingly, limits are bigger than they were on challenger level.

Hockey- Those of you who do live betting have probably noticed short hockey. It's played on undisclosed location in russia with 3 players. there are no official websites , you can't find out anything about players etc and impossible to find other informations except those bookies provide.

Basketball: well, again Esports and again manipulation. Players playing NBA2K20 against eachother and newest from scandals is:https://sports.yahoo.com/kevin-duran...5hb1kUwqff1nhw

Funny thing is that they offered it live while after losing money they confessed that it was prerecorded match... who knows how many of them are prerecorded...

Esports- Some of this stuff is top level and all clean like before quarantine as Esports isn't much affected as they can play from home. Still some starcraft matches have been ghost matches with prerecorded matches and some haven't even been played at all. Also, other stuff is such low level that those players make peanuts...

Volleyball- Lastly we have volleyball or so called Kung-Volleyball. When you look it up you could think that it's something serious as Japan plays against Maleysia in some funny combination of football-volleyball. Well, if you tune up the stream you realise that all players are russian(no matter for which "country" they play) and comentator is hiding his names quite well(russian translations of their names are usually swear words). Furthermore, you can't find any info about it, location is also unknown and there is no website or any media where you can find informations.

1xbet(famous frauds) have went step further. They offer USSR 3v3 football where they often forget to add goals(as matches end with 25+ goals) and you can't complain as noone has score besides them. Penalty shotouts, tennis tiebreaks, dragon league(4vs4 football where you can see barcelona playing against manchester city when its all russians switching taems and playing for fun).

So tell me, what do you think about these betting offers where are so easy to manipulate and impossible tto find value on. What do you bet in this hard times or you used this pause to withdraw majority of funds as it seems quite insecure to hold them online

Horses, Sim games, E Sports, Poker and Ping Pong seen to be the most popular betting option. Let me ask if you owned a book and had your market options slashed 95% what would you do to survive?

I received this from a line provider, can anyone spot the flaw?

"We found the way to bring back your Tennis revenues after their drastic fall from 100 to 0.
Meet our Brand new “Tennis Betting Simulator”- live Tennis games simulated based on our ENORMOUS historical Tennis database.

No, it's NOT a virtual game! Backed by real data, real action that took place on the court, and real-time odds traded during the match. Putting life back into the popular game with:
      • Over 1M historical matches
      • Fake names of original player, tournaments, dates, and times, revealing the original ones only at the end of the match, making it feel like a real-time event
      • High-quality matches in a best-of-5 format with an average of 10-15 minutes
      • 24/7 matches reaching up to 500 events per day
      • Both pre-match and in-play markets such as Game Winner, Point Winner, Match Winner, etc
      • ALL visualization features - ball movement, heatmaps, shot placements, score changes, real-time insights, and statistics
      • No new integration is needed for existing customers, and a simple integration for newcomers
      • Visualization's provided with a simple URL"

I am not saying that I dont understand their move, I am saying they are doing it on too shady stuff. They have edge in odds so why not offer clean stuff.
When u mentioned tennis, funny thing is that it's also low level leagues...for example, setka club is sponsored by favbet sportsbook...often cameras stop working and result voided..

                Slots belong in casino.
Virtual sports belong in virtual sports.
Made up competitions, "simulations", they don't belong in sports betting section, never have been or should be.

Btw how do you think bookies will react after this crisis? By increasing limits in order to get more revenue or maybe more risk of confiscating funds etc in order to make up for lost money...are the dark days or good days ahead for professional bettors?

I personally think it will open lot of new possibilities. Hopefully some new ewalely emerges so we are not anymore stuck with paysafe's monopoly..

E-sports (ie counterstrike and so on) will probably be absolutely massive after this. They were already growing rapidly, but they've now basically got the market to themselves for a few months.

I think Esports matches are the only ones still worth to bet on. CSGO, Dota2 and League of Legends

Its not surprising that some third-rate plays are in the line cause 99% of the main tournaments are stopped rn and they need to offer players something to bet on. When all this CV-19 mess is done and dusted people wil be running back to sports of all kinds. I think now its worth putting your accounts aside for a while. Although I have many accounts on different bookies, I usually bet on esports in bet365 and 1xbet - they have good line and odds

I wouldn't touch any of that stuff. I'm fine with ping pong and Belarus soccer though.
