B365 payout delayed due to covid-19 [moved posts]

Normally I would say Bet365 is the best, and definitely recommend them.
Normally their customer service is very good!
    Normally.
However, despite having no issues with them for 4.5 years,
recently they are refusing my 3 payout requests totalling 95k,
refusing to respond to my emails,
and have locked me out of my account (with more funds in there) --
inspite of the fact (honestly) I have done nothing wrong, or even suspect.
When sports gambling gets back to normal (next year) there may or may not
    be a resolution. We'll see.
In the meantime, while their LIVE betting is
likely the best platform, their Live-in-play ODDS are ridiculously bad, and I
suggest you are very, very careful when you look into it.
Maybe touch base with me again in 5 months.
Because there would be no point joining ANY book if its possible they
may scam you out of your entire BR if/when you start winning, as I did after 3.5 yrs of heavy losses

      1) They have not refused him any payout. He has to go through KYC is all.

      2) He has done something "suspect", as he puts it.

      - Bet365 tried pay him but he gave them incorrect banking details.
      - This is his first withdrawal ever.
      - He has been depositing to his account when his balance is already unusually high for his normal bet sizing.
      - He is asking for almost 100k after years of not withdrawing.

To name just 4 things that could be seen as "suspect" by books. And there is more.

As explained to him privately, these things are obvious red flags, and there is even more than these 4 mentioned.

Maybe other people with experience can explain that and he might believe it this time. Or at least not repeat this BS again on here.

Disappointed he thinks I am either a fool or a liar after wasting so much time replying to more than a dozen inane messages about this to re-assure him already.

      3) Bet365 have not ignored his emails. They advised him that there is a security issue and he needs to speak to them on the phone to clear it.

When he tried to call in he found a message saying that their Phone Support was shut down due to COVID-19 for now and he will have to wait.

Yes that sucks... but seriously, get a grip man, it's just how it is for the world this week.

      4) Bet365 did not say "Maybe touch base with me again in 5 months". In fact this has grown from claiming he was told 3 months in private messages, to 5 months now a day or two later.

None one knows for sure today what their phone center is doing. But I would take a wild stab in the dark and say that Bet365 will probably have a temporary or skeleton phone support system in place within days/weeks.

The most surprising thing about mezmurized2 coming on here and trying to make you worry that Bet365 is doing something wrong, is that he actually said he did not want to post publicly due to being scared of retribution from the book.

I said to him don't worry, make yourself a thread and ask other people what they think about your situation and I am sure they will reassure you same as I have.

I did not expect he would come on here and make off topic posts full of lies in other threads...

With my experience, every time someone says “honestly” or “to be honest” , they ain’t being honest.

From everything he has told me, I expect he will be paid once they can complete KYC.

They already tried to pay him once so they can't be too worried about the account. It sounds to me that the bad bank info sent the account from payments to security and they will just want to do responsible gambling and AML checks. Which it sounded to me like he will pass fine.

It's just bad timing it happened on the day before the call center shut down or I'd bet he would have been fine after a phone call.

This post has made me wonder if he is just a good talker though.
