    Betfair closed my account with 7500$
    Hello,Im a long time member with Betfair. Over 10 years,I had this account,made many withdrawals.My account is fully verified.Usually betting on exchange.
    So last time I made a withdrawal was on 17.02.2020 for 2500$,and left about 5000$ on account.Next day I try to log in and my account is closed.
    Chat support told me that my account is under review by the relevant department and to wait to email from them.So I wait,no email,no nothing...
    After few days I try to chat with other support, he told me that my account confirmed as closed under business grounds.I said what about my funds,because you did not pay me 2500$,so I have about 7500$ locked .He said that he or management have no control over the situation,as when closure is a business decision,the decision would be final and non amenable.
    I sent email to escalations@betfair.com and vip@betfair.com but undelivered mail returned to sender few times.I think they blacklisted my mail address.
    So they closed my account with no explanation,no email about decision.They dont paid me my money,what to do?This is nightmare...

    First thing to do is email escalations@betfair.com again and ask for a Deadlock email if they refuse to remit your money or give a proper explanation for why not.

    Just keep the message short and the main point being you want a deadlock email. Once you have that you can proceed with the official ODR procedure.


    Also if you submit a Sportsbook Complaint form SBR can ask for a manager for a better explanation and to review what has gone on.

      Really, another case of Betfair stealing money. Reading way too many of these reports to feel comfortable about Betfair these days.

          It's a Betfair thing. Just says the internal dispute resolution process is exhausted and that BF will agree to a third party review. IBAS wont deal with complaints about BF without one. I have no idea why they are so special.

              Yesterday I try to send email to escalations@betfair.com,but as I say they blocked my email,so I try with my alternative mail.Till now nothing.I think they will block alternative one for sure
              In the meantime I made a complaints to European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
              Im waiting for Deadlock email to make complaint with IBAS
              What if escalation team refuse to provide me Deadlock Email?

                      hello Jack, the $7500 is it winnings or total deposit? just wana get a clear view of the situation... as many players are complaining about betfair these days... some are even calling it betUNfair...

                        I'm a trader and arber on betting exchange,doing this last 9 or 10 years.
                        In previous 3 months I deposited on Betfair (I have a statements): 24.12.2019- 2000$ and 15.01.2020- 2000$
                        I repeat, I didn't doing nothing wrong to break T&C,nothing unusual as I doing trading and arbing, so when I win on exchange I lose on other bookmaker and reverse.
                        One more thing ,Im a winner on long run and I pay Premium Charge

                            After 23 days not answering my emails and blocked the same,they finally responded via Resolver:

                            "Thanks for getting in touch.I hope this e-mail finds you well.
                            Firstly, I would like to apologize for the delay in getting back to your e-mail in relation to your query.
                            In relation to the account closure, unfortunately, the closure has been done in line with our T&Cs.
                            Now, seeing as you wish to take this to an external 3rd party, we would need to raise this to the relevant team for review and once this review has been completed, you will be e-mailed."

                            Again, they didn't give me a reason why they close account and what will be with my funds!
                            Now Im waiting for Deadlock Email to take this thing to IBAS

                              Thye are basically saying, now that you have worked out how to access the ODR system, we will actually look at this properly now and see if we really can justify what we have done

                                      After almost one month Betfair reopened my account

                                      I made withdrawal because no sports these days and everything is on my bank very fast.

                                      I closed case on Resolver and revoke complaint with European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution
