Warning to others who use Bookmaker. Their live betting section is a total scam. When you select a wager, enter an amount, youre asked to confirm or cancel. Does not matter if you hit cancel, your bet is automatically accepted no matter what. Oh you think the cancel button means cancel? No, sorry, it actually is a second confirm button. Their customer service was extremely non chalant and unhelpful. Stay away. Much better options out there now a days.

#2I have not seen anyone else ever claim anything like that happens.
Any chance at all you are mistaken about what button you clicked?
Are you able to reproduce the error if you put in a small live test bet and click cancel?
Maybe record the screen as doing it if so..Comment -

#4Had a couple of people test it.
Both say not only can they not reproduce this claimed error. But that there is not even a cancel button which you say you clicked.
Both think you probably clicked the Post button, which is the only button on the live betting ticket confirm form.
Only way to cancel is to use the X to close the confirm popup..Comment -

#10I emailed them and spoke on their live chat. I need to redeposit now in order to show it. I'll record my screen. I used the mobile version, not the desktop. Can someone try on the mobile site? After you place a live bet and select post, it loads for a few seconds then the box turns blue and gives you two buttons. Confirm or cancelComment -

There is no Cancel button on mobile or desktop versions.
Your claims make no sense. Have you even got the correct sportsbook you are calling a scam here??.Comment -

I hit POST. And the bet went through, just like always, unless there is a price change.
The next button is CONTINUE which really does nothing since your bet has already been placed.
I use Bookmaker live betting all the time, especially for soccer goals, never seen these buttons you speak of, ya drunk bastard.Comment -

So I entered the bet again and this is post bet:
And then this is after clicking on continue:

You did not "mean" what you said about two buttons or a cancel button.

After being told that there is no cancel (or confirm) buttons, now you meant to say the X eh.... no wonder the CS was unhelpful with you. I expect they just thought you were mistaken, but would not be told, too..Comment -

#28This dude probably overbet his comfort zone and lost and is now trying to come up with crazy stories. If you live bet ever the risk is once you hit the post button that’s your bet period. No way in the world will a good book cut you slack on live betting. It’s just the way it is. It’s too quick for them to be bailing out degenerates who make up lies. Shut this thread downComment -

Dude, he's probably talking about the Confirm and Continue buttons that appear after clicking Post and when the screen shows the wager as "Confirmed" (see @DiggityDaggityDo screenshots). Of course that "Cancel" (or "X") button isn't going to cancel your wager. You're already committed. This lines up well with his explanation of these buttons appearing after "Post".
But please post a screenshot of the two buttons that say "Confirm" and "Continue" you think he was actually talking about in case you have spotted something no one else in the thread did.
Also bear in mind, the OP is now claiming they clicked the X symbol instead of Post on the bet ticket screen, and says that submitted the bet anyway.
Same question for you as the OP... can you repeat this error?.Comment -

So getting that out of the way, I stand by my statement that OP is talking about these two buttons. It aligns with his explanation, and it also explains why hitting Cancel resulted in a confirmed wager - because his wager is already confirmed by the time he gets to that stage. He's confused.Comment
