Anyone have any interaction with Draft Kings in Manchester, NH
I live in western Massachusetts, a state that is going to take another decade to legalize sports wagering. Near me, Rhode Island (2 hour drive), Schenectady NY (2.5 hour drive) and New Hampshire (25 minutes until border) are the closest places to bet legally. I drove up and opened an account with Sports Kings and placed a few bets on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago. I placed some regular bets and some live in play ones. The system seemed rather clunky to me. I believe Sports Kings also has online sports book in NJ and Pennsylvania. I think the setup is the same online for Sports Kings in all three states. Is that correct? Is there anyone here who bets online with Sports Kings and willing to say something about their experiences?

I have to actually drive over the border of New Hampshire and then enable super duper GPS on my phone to verify my location, to be able to make a bet or to even see the lines. I wish I could at least see the lines before I decide if I'm gonna drive the hour and a half roundtrip to the nearest NH McDonald's. MickeyD's is the closest place to chill and make your wagers, then go next door to Applebee's and watch the action. Applebee's internet for real wouldn't let me access Sports Kings online sportsbook when I first took the jaunt to NH to sign up and try Sports Kings. Had to go to McD's to sign up and bet. Their internet was unconcerned about my gambling activity. Weird! lol

You should send a suggestion to them that they do not need to geo block the site to viewing and would get more interstate business if they didnt.

I don't think there is Sports Kings actually. I think he is referring to Draft Kings. Just got the name mixed up I am assuming.

Is it a stand alone brick and mortar? How does Draft Kings compare to Wil Hill in Rhode Island? New Hampshire's geo-locked app is already up and running......correct?

Exactly the info I was looking for.....thanx. I'm in Mass but central and eight minutes from NH border. So its bump across line, put your plays in, and you're done. I wouldn't be anxious for mass to legalize. they will f\*\*k it up so bad and they will be the exact types who will badger the truly GREAT offshore outs like bookmaker to pull out and just not allow Mass players access to their site. If you want to see what it would be like with Mass just look at what's proposed for Tennessee. Utter horsechit like pushes lose and AT LEAST a standard -120 and maybe worse

What was the process for setting up an account?

Where did you go and which documents were required?

                    Thanks.

If it is anything like NJ you won't need any docs to open an account. You might even be able to login and fund the account from out of state. Then cross the border to make your bets. They won't do the KYC check until you request a payout, need ID and bank statement of your funding account.

I found their site to be kind of a pain in the ass, but you don't need any documents, at least to sign up. I don't know how it is for withdrawing. You will need to be physically in New Hampshire, both to sign up and to deposit. That is because you will need to turn on super duper GPS on your device, so that Draft Kings can verify your location. What state you reside in doesn't matter though. It took me about an hour to figure out how to register. But after I accomplished that, it was simple and instantaneous to deposit with my debit card. I don't really like the way the site is arranged for viewing the odds and placing wagers. It is very clunky. Not all like 5Dimes or other regular online sportsbooks. There are no brick and mortar sportsbooks yet in New Hampshire. When they do get around to that, they will be few and far between. I think they will have like 6 or 8 locations total, to start.
