    Question about SBR Posters' Poll
Am I correct that this poll---whose results are featured prominently at the top of the SBR forum---is almost four years old?

If so, and given that this industry has changed dramatically in the past four years, is it not in the best interest of the sports betting community that this poll be taken again now, and at regular six-month intervals in the future?

SBR ratings and poll results should be taken with a huge pinch of salt. A good rating for a book in 2010 should be only be seen as a good rating for 2010. The rating would have been changed if there had been a sudden deterioration at any time, but a book that was once rated B+ might in reality have slipped to B- or C+ nowadays. SBR hasn't updated the ratings pages in years. There are at least 2 books that have slipped to D- ratings and should be on the Avoid List but yet they are not. 1 book that has risen to D+, and thus should not be on the Avoid List, is still there.

Additionally having Intertops at #5 on the SBR best books list has never made sense. Intertops is rated A but there are other books that are rated A+ and presumably those books should be above them. I guess site sponsorship counts.

The accuracy/reliability of SBR's classic odds service is also deteriorating.

I pinged the forum manager about a new poster poll in the last few days after someone else asked the same question.

Probably be a new one soon I think.

When we have a new forum manager in place, I will bring this up to them and try again.

we should have sportsbook polls monthly, maybe the first of every month. this way they can be adjusted based on the sport season and how that book is handling that season.

questioning men, even making comments on or about another mans poll could easily start an e-fight

I`m having no part of this one.
