    Different sportsbooks
I use 5dimes faithfully, but during this current football season, there were a few game lines locked in that wouldn't allow me to buy any points. A friend uses heritage and says he's never had that problem. This has got me wondering, are certain sites better than others for a certain sport? Appreciate any and all input.

sites like heritage and its sister wagerweb def offer a lot of lines for a game in all sports. i see bovada has decent variety in lines too. even betonline and its sister sportsbetting offer a lot of lines for a game.

you should always have multiple books to line shop and to also have a backup in case you ever have an issue with one and can't place bets when you need to

I find Pinnacle has the best odds, higher then most sites, but they have a very poor live betting sections compared to other sites, I think each site has it benefits, and it is hard to say which is the best, top quality

i prefer sites with a very easy platform where i can get my bet in quickly. i hate having to type my password in each time to place a bet.

The only thing I don't like about heritage, they don't number the games.

you mean numbering each bet like the big boards at sportsbooks or a number for each game itself?

Americans love the rotation numbers like you see in the SBR book

              Dec 11 SOC [27802] OLYMPIACOS FC -227
Dec 11 SOC [27806] FC BAYERN MUNICH -278

They use them to find/confirm they have the right bet.

Number for each game, for example, 671 Nebraska at 672 Indiana

Also use bitcoin, otherwise all your withdrawals will get refunded back to your cards and it will take a while. And they limit fast if you're beating the closing line.

yes i understand. for me I am not too particular as long as I can see the games and they don't appear all jumbled or smushed together to fit on the screen.

The reality is most of the major sportsbooks (offshore and stateside) have a bunch of positives particular to them and negatives. Heritage offers a lot of lines and are super fast to pay and also generally good customer service but they do limit fast and if you take reduced juice you basically forfeit your right to participate in any other promotions they run.

BOL opens lines for College Football for US facing major offshores, most of the season 2-3 hours before the competition. The LowVig skin is reduced juice BOL so I mostly use them for CFB but they also have virtually no customer service to speak of and very limited on props

5D offers a bazillion different markets but their payouts make me want to rip my eyes out

Bookmaker is the big dog but you've got to pay the full -110

Bovada is a soft rec book where you can get some good prices and great for arbing but they also watch you like a hawk so the fun doesn't last long

                      etc etc - there's always a "but"

anyway for me: 5Dimes good for teasers and NBA moneylines, fight moneylines and variety of player props, exotics
                      LowVig for CFB
Pinny/PS3838 usually cheapest place to buy half points on NFL games if you do that
Heritage best for reduced juice NBA sides/totals
Bovada best for really soft player props prices
