Betting with Bitcoin..

So 3 months ago i tried to make a deposit in Bookmaker with a credit card i have only for internet shop which is vi.sa/master.card and they didnt accept it ( now they do, they say) and they were so annoying about bitcoin and so crazy that i deposit in bitcoin.
So.. 3 months ago bitcoin was approximately in 9k, now its in 7k.
So if 3 months ago i put 1000 USD in Bookmaker and convert them to bitcoin and i win lets say 500 USD with my bets in bookmaker in these 2 months but bitcoin has gone down from 9k to 7k in these 3 months.. in what situation am i ??? Even if i won 500 usd betting with bitcoin am i in a loser situation because the bitcoin have gone down 2k in these 3 months or i am in a winner situation and i have the money i deposited 1000usd+500 usd i made betting? Cause if the situation is that even if i won with my bets i have lost money cause bitcoin is down since 3 months ago from 9k to 7k just when i made the deposit.. whats the point about betting in bitcoin and why is everyone so crazy about it?

Bookmaker converted your bitcoin to USD. So even though you deposited with bitcoin they aren't holding your balance in bitcoin. You will receive an amount in bitcoin that is equal to the USD in your account.

If you played at a bitcoin site like Nitrogen they would hold your balance in bitcoin so it would fluctuate. This is not the case with Bookmaker.

People are crazy about bitcoin because it's anonymous(mostly), quick to move money in and out of books, payout speeds much quicker, better bonuses with bitcoin and people are generally bullish on bitcoin as a whole.

You are betting and keeping your balance in USD, though, so nothing to worry about.
