#7It has come to our attention that your BetOnline account is registered in New Jersey. Please note that, per our Terms and Conditions, BetOnline does not accept customers from New Jersey and your account has been closed. All pending wagers have been cancelled and refunded. You have until September 30th, 2019 to withdrawal your remaining funds.*
They also voided my NCAAF football season win totals.Comment -

It probably takes no more than a letter from the new regulatory agency to get these big locally legal offshore operations to comply.
There was not much in the way of scary laws that were easy to prove and prosecute before. Now in NJ there is probably massive penalties for easy to prove breaches like marketing in the state without a license..Comment -

#18What is problem for BOL to go and open legal site and outfit in state of New Jersey. If they do so,they would not be able to pull stunts like all other Curacao and Costa Rica books. What is problem to be legit and accept high rollers?Comment -

#19Betonline has as high or higher limits for me than any new jersey book I have used (especially when you consider the rebet function) They have many faults, but running away from high rollers feels illegitimate to me.Comment -

#20NJ books are great if you want to lay -110 on mlb lines, and get a max 500 freeplay bonus. Rather than the 1000 I would get regularly from betonline. It sucks, legal gambling sucks. Anyone with half a brain knew that it was going to work out poorly.
"But you are guaranteed to get paid from a legal bookie"
Really? So when they decide to cut you off for chasing steam, or whatever reason they give, you will then have to go and submit a complaint with a state agency. Who will then take months to look at your claim, and maybe get your money back.Comment -

But is there 1 instance of a new jersey book holdings someone money for chasing steam? Or another illegitimate reason? I have not heard of 1.Comment -

#22I wish we could know about other states but it seems like it will be status quo until each state bothers to warn offshore, which could happen anytime without warning. Given NY's track record of scrutinizing gambling, dfs, and being one of the states blocked from some offshore sites in the past, I would guess sooner rather than later...Comment -

#25And NJ has had online sports betting for like 15 minutes. Just wait. How many times have you heard of an A or even B book on SBR holding onto anyone's money for any reason besides multi-accounting fraud. And even then, they payout.Comment -

#26I have had A books cancel wagers without just cause (multiple times). I have had B+ books get up and run away with my and other players money. Dont have to worry about any of that with new jersey books. yes offshore has its advantages, but to act like there is no advantage to the safety of funds onshore sites provide is a bit disingenuous or ill-informed.Comment -

#28Quick update:
Betonline waived 24,000 worth rollover so I could cash out. Put the cash out request for Lowvig and Betonline at around 7 pm. Bitcoin was in my wallet 3 hours later. Props to betonline. Will really miss using them. Sad set of circumstances, but appreciate the service in getting the money quickly. Won't be same without the fun scratch cards showing up, even though you already know what each of the bonuses are already.Comment -

#29You think states are going to give licenses to companies which haven't been paying US taxes for years? Not going to happen when there are plenty of casinos ready to take over this new space. And those casinos have lobbyist to make sure the competition stays on the outside looking in.Comment -
