Trying to Arb it was insane, you knew you weren't getting paid so effectively you were just betting on Motherwel/Draw. Don't do that again.

I would just not touch the account, and wait and see if they have one of their paying out periods, probably just before NFL.

But, Jason, you could actually try looking at regulatory bodies to see if they might help, or local chambers or commerce, local government, etc. It's a bit of leg work, butI remember someone doing that for a crooked Austrian bookie (unfortunately, can't remember which bookie

), and they found that contacting local government actually led to them being paid. Local government put pressure on the bookie as they felt it affected their reputation. It's a longshot, and - in my opinion at least - only worth a little research / time, but it's probably worth even a quick attempt at sending the same e-mail to the various bodies for whom you can locate contact information.

Definitely right not to "arb" it though.

Have you filed a complaint with SBR, and is anyone helping you? Perhaps they have some suggestions for local bodies that might be able to help you?

i email the costa rican embassy they never reply though , i filled in the sbr complaint form but it didnt do any good and i notice on here all the complaints about bookmaker shilbet , they operate just down the road in san jose from worldbet . The word costa rica just sends a shiver down my spine . I always try and find contact details for them i searched everywhere but can never find anything worthwhile .
In england we have ibas who deal with these things but in costa rica they have nothing like that , they can do as they please .

Try to withdraw the money in very small ammounts....make for example 3x£100 withdrawal request for start, instead of a big one...than write Worldbet an email every day asking for the withdrawal, threat them with publicity (forums) etc...
They sometimes make outpayments of small ammounts (but I never heard of any confirmed big payout from them!), to lure other victims, so your only chance is to try to withdraw the money in very small steps...and pray.
Arbing out is a very bad idea...basically you risk real money for "play money" at worldbet...

This **** "betting office" is in "business" for many years, and nobody was able to shut them down, or force them to pay out...so I guess there is nothing you can do...maybe if you are very lucky, you can get a few hundred pounds paid out in a few months, but this is the most you can get if some miracle won't happen.

Worldbet is one of the worst scam offices ever, because they are well promoted (you can find their banners along the net many places), and in the (scam-)business for a long time...

No, I am 99.99999% sure that none of these can help.
It'd sound VERY suprising if an affiliate site could force a scam operation to pay out the money they don't want to pay out...

Just type in "worldbet + promotion" in google, and you can see that there are many many sites promoting them....unfortunately.
(I don't want to list any of these here, as it's not a good idea to list sites, that promote a scam operation....you can easily find many by searching with google)

Ive covered so much of the net with worldbet i see all the places that promote them what you said .
Ive tried to arb out some money twice both times failed so another £800 with worldbet now on top of the nearly £6000. I done it on the motherwell v llanneli game and spain v usa game , both times i backed the bggest price with worldbet and both times the biggest price won .
I wont ever do that again now and they can keep the lot , no hope left now .
