Not Sure if I've a case here with bet365
    Hi all,

    I'm new here.....

    Anyway, here is what happen.

My friend has got a credit card while I do not have one.

So I though I could ask him to fund my bet365 account using his credit card through ******** as my country credit card cannot be use directly through gaming site.

Nevertheless, I pass him SGD2800 cash while he helped my fund my bet365.

First thing ******** did was to do a verification check with my friends credit card and identity. All these go well and he made a transfer of sgd2800 to his ******** credit card successfully.

I then go ahead and key in his ******** credit card to my bet365 acc and transfer SGD 2800 successfully.

Thinking that it was allowed and ok to bet with, I begin to place bets using my SGD 2800.

At the end of the day, my credit was SGD4000++ when I was blocked for placing further bets......

That was when Bet365 told me that ******** has contact them to stop this. Why is bet365 even listening to ******** in the first place?

Nevertheless, after 4 days of verification again with my friend, ******** decides to close the acc and do a ********** of SGD2800 to my friend credit card.

Fair enough, I agree to it, and get the SGD2800 from my friend back. But my bet365 acc was suspended and was told that it was forwarded to the fraud/security team....

My question is, can I still get back my winnings? it has been a day since bet365 get back to me.

Do I have a case here?

The fact is, my friend's acc with ******** is verified and ******** deems it to be in good standing order after documents of ID, Credit card and even a bank statement letter to that address...

I still don't see why this may be classified as fraud case...

Just to give you a one line explanation of why the answer is clearly "no": It's fraud because it's not your card and you registered it to your personal account with Bet365.

It's irrelevant if the cardholder gave you permission to use their card; the agreement between you and Bet365 requires you to use your personal credit / debit cards only.

If you'd lost your deposit, your friend could have easily gone to their bank and said someone had fraudulently used their credit card without their consent. Your friend would have got the money back, and you'd have had a free roll at the bookie's. It doesn't matter that you wouldn't do that; the bookie can't tell in advance how honest you are. The only way the bookie can protect against that is to require any credit card to be in the account holder's name.

Yes. I edited my post to explain the reason a bit better for you, but yes, the bookie would be within their rights to void it.

                    Ic ic....

but should the person report fraudulently used of their credit card, they are liable for a **********?

Because I thought bank usually don't hold liable for any transaction after the lost of card before it was reported.

What happen if i lose my bets then? would bet365 asked me to top it up upon next login?
