Well I finally joined this book a couple weeks ago and I have made around 5 bets so far and all the bets I make are straight up win wagers. The problem is that I wagered some ammount on a game and when I called the book to find out why the ammount I thought I had won was not showing they told me that I had bet the point spread. I told them that I requested a straight win wager and they told me that I had to call and talk to the supervisor in the morning. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Its just very hard to understand the people there because of the heavy accent. I have never bet the point spread because I'm a newbie so I just like wagering on a straight win wager and now I'm stuck and don't know wat to do

Welcome to SBR. I'd call them as requested and listen to their reasoning. Maybe it is just a misunderstanding. It sounds like you wanted to bet Money lines. When I hear straight wagers, I think point-spreads, personally. Let us know how things go, please.
