Hi. Their t&C's do not say that there is any issue with a spouse having an account and I cannot see anything about not having an account when a partner's account has been restricted. I am to be honest slightly surprised by this response. From what I can see I have provided a valid ID arranged a call with them at a specific time (which they didn't end up making and offered no reason). Are we saying that they can withold £4000 of someone's money indefinitely on a false whim? It sounds illegal to me. Looking at this forum and other forums my understanding is that Novibet like to use security checks as an excuse to withold money wherever possible. Have I got this wrong?

What are you surprised by in Optionals response? He gave you a pretty straight forward and reasonable answer. They will need you to convince them that it is actually YOU who is operating the account, and not your husband. This is entirely reasonable of them. You are lucky if they don't make you do this, because the most likely situation here is a multiple account. If I were them and this were the case, I would certainly make sure the woman on the other end of the line could quickly answer semi obscure questions regarding the account to verify that it is indeed her. Otherwise, there is no way for the books to protect against multiple accounts. Hiding behind false identities shouldn't protect you from having multiple accounts.

This issue is having a serious effect on my mental health and I really do not understand some of the earlier comments on this post but thank you Lonnie55 who has given some reassurance. I honestly don't know what a gnome is. I won't be posting here again as I am finding this situation extremely traumatic. My concern is that my money which includes no material profit is being held without any information provided and I have a family to look after. I will leave you with this from the gambling commission "If you have asked to withdraw funds from your account, the company must not demand that you provide additional information as a condition of releasing those funds, if they could have reasonably asked for that information earlier."

Have taken legal advice recommending that I send them a letter demanding payment within 30 days followed by a small court claim if they fail to respond. The crux is that this is my money. Net profit on the account is zero. Good to have finally received some unbiased advice. Please take note users of this forum. The court will not listen to your claim if you have not been through the proper dispute resolution process.

You're very obviously a caught cheat and know it. Who else would be so desperate to try and challenge the terms without even being told they need to!

Genuine female bettors caught in this situation do not act this way... they generally expect to be approved as they KNOW they've not broken any terms.

Actually i think you make a logical mistake here, if you have one succesful bettor under the roof the likelyhood of the second person capable of good betting increases. people talk and some also listen. my wife never bets herself but she knows a lot about it, now. i guess she could be good pretty fast.

apart from that, very entertaining thread. newbie caught multi-accounting and getting very emotional. good luck anyways and listen to the good advice here.
