Fiestabet confiscates players' winnings citing circumvented limits; downgraded from C to D+

Fiestabet has voided wagers placed in two accounts citing circumvented limits and claiming the two players wagered on many of the same plays at the same time. SBR has argued that the sportsbook should not have the opportunity to void wagers after the result.

The sportsbook has no evidence suggesting the accounts are not operated by two valid account holders. SBR also stated that it is not uncommon for players to handicap games together or follow published plays, and the sportsbook is welcome to limit or close the accounts at any time.

Fiestabet has also refused to pay the two players a split of the maximum wager allowed for one account. The complaint is not uncommon. Sportsbooks looking for reasons not to pay big winners have unjustly cited syndicate play.

Let me guess. We're talking of soccer bets? This guys has lack of knowledge in european soccer, so when you've moving lines, you can catch the weak lines at Fiestabet.

So it's normal that people play on some lines with the maximum alowed. Is this syndicate playing? Let me laugh on that.

I think a D+ is too good to be true after this.

If they are not able to move the lines in soccer, just don't offer them. But if they book the bet, they've to pay it.

Yeah, it it is unfortunate to hear of cases like these. It is that time of year though and it becomes that much more of a requirement for players to monitor player feedback a little more closely. Hopefully, this will serve to warn others.

February is always a bad business month for books, so I can't say I'm surprised to see these types of action coming from the lower tier books.

Shouldn't this lead to a downgrade for Beted also?

why do people post up at those homoerectual books? all they do is rob and stiff people.

I still can't believe sportsb**k.com is still in business.

After almost 3 weeks,my problem was resolved,I received a message from FiestaBet:

"We appreciate your patience, while the fiestabet Management have been reviewing your case. While Management agrees that the actions taken to close your account are correct, per the obvious collusion, they have agreed that your account balance should have been paid.

                  Your account balance will be paid in full, per the following;

Account balance at time account was closed: €4,260.28
Pending wagers at time account was closed: two for €500.00 each
Pending wager statuses: both pending wagers pushed (€1,000.00 credited back to the account)
                  Payment Amount: €5,260.28

Per payment regulations, "todos los pagos están sujetos a un máximo de €1,500 por transacción y €3,000 máximo por semana".

A payment of €1,500.00 has been immediately processed, with an email confirmation to follow. The weekly balance of €1,500.00 will be processed before the end of the week and the remaining balance of €1,260.28, processed next week.

Our apologies for the delay in resolving this, as to perform the proper due-diligence, does take time. However, it's important to note that in the future, please make sure to follow the respective Terms & Conditions of gaming sites, as your account was closed due to collusion.

                  Regards,

                  Customer Service Department"

My account is still closed, but at least I shall receive my money.

After this incident I lost confidence in sportsbooks and I shall stay away from sportsbooks rated below B.

Thanks to Stephen Olson, Accounts Manager for ThrillX Systems, software provider for FiestaBet and to Josh, who helped me a lot.

                        1,500 + 1,500 + 1,260.38 = 4,260.38 and not 5,260.38?
