OK folks, I requested a free Moneyorder through regular mail for $550 on Jan 5th. I was told this would take 5 business days Max to receive. Well the MoneyOrder returned to 5Dimes on the 22nd. I then contacted them on the 22nd and had the following conversation:
Leland: Hello. How may I assist you today?
Bradley: Hi Leland
Bradley: I was on here tuesday, and asked to report back thursday
Bradley: regarding a moneyorder i never received that was requested jan 5
Leland: Just a moment please
Bradley: thanks
Leland: We received the Money order back
Leland: we need you to update us with the correct address to resend it out
Leland: In that case it will be resent to you
Leland: Please contact us tomorrow for a estimate arrival, our accounting department is closed for today
Leland: We must send the money through a moneyorder
Bradley: sorry
Leland: you may not receive a moneygram for these funds
Bradley: for what funds?
Leland: the funds that we have received returned
Leland: the money order that we received has to be re sent to you
Leland: we can't use Moneygram to send those funds
Bradley: why is that, i dont understand
Bradley: didnt you say the moneyorder bounced back and is there
Leland: yes, but to put a stop payment on a money order, the process takes from 50 to 65 days
Leland: so we can resend you the funds
Bradley: Goodness Gracious
Leland: or you may wait the time frame and receive a Moneygram once cancelled
Bradley: so either wait 50-65 days, or you will just resend
Leland: it would have to be cancelled
Leland: so if you want it back in your account
Bradley: which takes 50-65 days correct?
Leland: you would still have to wait the time frame
Leland: correct
Bradley: wow......i cant wait that long
Bradley: ok.....explain this to me
Bradley: what if the moneyorder bounces back to you again the 2nd time?
Leland: if the address is correct there should be no bouncing back
Bradley: i know, but it bounced back the first time
Bradley: with the correct address
Leland: at the moment it has to be sent to you again
Leland: in the case of it returning again
Leland: we can discuss the situation with the general manager to credit your account before the cancellation is complete
Leland: but we need to try to re send it once more before we do that
Bradley: ok..perfect
Bradley: so it will be sent out tomorrow
Leland: yes it will
Bradley: ok...perfect, and what is the expected time range for the moneyorder to get here
Bradley: last i heard 5 business days max
Leland: correct

I still hadn't received anything by Monday, Feb 2nd, and contacted 5dimes again. They told me if I hadn't received the MoneyOrder by Wednesday, Feb 4th, to contact them back. I didn't receive, so I contacted them back, and was told by a manager that the MoneyOrder won't be re-sent until Friday, Feb 6th.
I think I'm getting played here. In the conversation above, I was told the Moneyorder would be re-sent the next day (Fri, Jan 23rd).
Can I get some help here please?
