BookMaker - debit card charged twice
Hi, I signed up for BookMaker a few weeks ago because of their A+ rating on this site. On a recent deposit I made, they charged by debit card twice which incurred a $35 overdraft fee with my bank. Has anyone had this problem before?

I contacted the live help on their site, and they gave me a betcris e-mail address to contact... I sent them my deposit information and am awaiting my response. Is there any hope in them correcting this? I want to cancel that debit card, but not sure if I should leave it open in hopes they will be able to credit back to the card. I am assuming the worst unfortunately, I have a feeling they will deny this somehow.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Give them a call and ask for their Credit Card dept, they should be able to give you a refund on your card if it was a real abnormality.

9 days passed and I never got so much as a reply... I guess I will have to chalk it up as a loss and take my business elsewhere. How this book got a A+ is beyond me.

same shit happened here. used sister site DSI, to make debit card deposit, they didnt even tell me anything bout international fees. on top of it they charge me twice jus like ur case. fortunately i canceled mi debit card n got a new one so the second charge wouldn go thru. wut u need to do is fax over ur bank statement showing the 2nd charge n they should refund it to ur sportsbook account which is BS cuz they really should refund it to the card but thats prob bout all u can do. wow they routinely mess up sumthing thats so simple.

You have the rights to get the refund of that. I believed it was their mistake that they had charged you twice.. Keep us updated bro! Good luck

same shit here 2 yeras ago.. charged twice

hey, i had the same thing done by betus several years ago, afetr about two or three days it will be credited back to your account but if you were like me, i had a couple of checks bounce in the meantime and it was a nightmare trying to find out from the banks accounting dept, esp. since you cannot say you wager over the internet, anyway ,afetr bitching and sending emails, ,copies of my check that was nsf and the amount, betus credited my account with like 60.00 freeplay at that time. i left them after that anyway . good luck dude!

The way to solve that is not through e-mail, the best way is to give CC dept. a call.

Dude please give CC dep a call. Send the copy of the bank statement showing the overdraft and call them... quick. If they find the overcharge, they will refund it hands down. But please call them so you can speed things up... time is money
